Responsible for providing legal information, counseling and assistance to vulnerable person, covering the main legal:
• Family Law
• Gender-Based Violence and Child Protection
• Legal identity including obtaining civil documentation necessary to access rights and services (birth registration, marriage registration….)
• Citizenship and statelessness issues related to displacement
Tasks: Conduct basic interviews with refugees in order to assess legal and urgent protection needs, provide counselling on birth and marriage registration at UNHCR RC., conducts interviews and counselling on Legal Residency procedures (issuance and renewal), provides counselling on Labor Law, plan and facilitate awareness sessions for the Refugees community on different legal topics, awareness sessions….
ICLA: Information, Counseling and Legal Assistance.
Provide information and counseling to beneficiaries on legal issues ( legal
status, civil documentation, including birth registration and marriage
registration, housing and land property rights, in accordance with ICLA
structure and guidance, and agree work plan .
Provide information and counseling to beneficiaries on how to access basic
services through individual and group in formation session conducted in
center or other humanitarian organizations and through outreach, in
accordance with ICLA structure and guidance, and agree work plan .
Assist in arranging appointments with ICLA lawyers and appropriately
manage ICLA's legal assistance cases,
Weekly report, develop and manage a weekly activity plan, Carry out related
mainstreaming of protection in program daily implementation as per the set
NRC’s protection mainstreaming guidelines, and ensure reporting any
breaches/concerns to the line manager for proper action, arrange
appointments with ICLA lawyers and appropriately manage ICLA's legal
assistance cases, undertake monitoring and evaluation activities, attending
meetings, undertake routine administrative tasks, as requested by the IFO
and ICLA
My key responsibilities is to ensure that the best legal action is taken, perform a variety of important tasks, provide legal advice, process documents (draft contract….), perform research, identify risks... Responsible for the legal affairs of the entire corporation. This role includes providing legal counsel to the board of directors, chairman of the board, chief executive officer and other senior management. Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's matters. Developing and leading internal audit and corporate compliance programs. Overseeing delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and priorities. Maintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state and federal governmental bodies, legislatures and the community at large. Advising the CEO and other senior corporate officers on a variety of issues.
Participating in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the executive management team. Managing a team of corporate counsel and other members of the legal department
