Coordinating the day-to-day operational activities of the voyage and time
chartered ships, ensuring compliance with the agreed charter party
terms;
• Properly and timely convey voyage instructions, including pertinent
details from the governing charter party and other information
applicable for the particular voyage and/or employment to the
vessels, port agents and other relevant parties;
• Develop and maintain close business relationships with customers,
terminals, port agents and other relevant parties;
• Continuous tracking of vessel movement and voyage progress as
per Charter Party requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date and fact-based knowledge of vessel speed /
consumption and in-port performance, while ensuring compliance with
charter party.
• Record and generate over-performance claims and counter /
negotiate the settlement of under-performance claims;
• Update, maintain and produce daily vessel position list;
• Record keeping (correspondence to/from ships, agents, brokers,
maintain claims database etc.);
• Ensure accurate record keeping of cargo claims.
• Liaise with ship and P & I club in the event of any disputes;
• Monitor and plan bunker replenishment for the vessels along with
the Operations Manager;
• Invoicing and follow-up of freight, demurrage, hire, agency costs and
miscellaneous claims.
• Negotiation and settlement of demurrage claims. Assist in the
development and control of vessel charter hire reports;
19 year of experience within liquefied (LNG, LPG, Bitumen) tanker shipping operations, chemical, bulk cargo, voyage analysis, Post fixture and shipping operations. With Strong business and Communication Skills
Undertake and dispatch voyage planning to meet international regulations and respond to vessel issues.
• responsible for reducing vessel’s off-hire while increasing profitability and availability of owned and chartered fleets through TCP and Spot.

• Review stowage planning
• proceed and Coordinate Agency appointments
• Provide Voyage Orders to vessels
• Monitor vessels performance during all voyages i.e. Speed and consumption, loading rate, tank cleaning optimization
• Handle questionnaires, certificates, LOI’s and all relevant supporting docs
• preparing Vetting and dry docks with technical Managers.
• Update the company’s software with required data (IMOS Veslink)
• Working with internal and external counterparties to ensure the smooth management of ongoing operations, including pre and post operations activities
• Ensure systems are updated at all times with accurate data
• Verify supporting documents against data entry in respective systems, and raising any query to the relevant department in case of inconsistent data
• settling and posting hire invoices, credit and debit notes and posting recharges as required by C/P terms.
• 2000 - 2002: master degree: diploma in maritime accounting, Economy and finance.
• 1996 - 2000: bachelor's degree (4-years University): Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business.
