on developing and implementing an Accountability to Affected Population
▪ Working with national, governmental and international stakeholders on enhancing referral
mechanism to specialized services.
▪ Ensure OIC duties of the Social Protection Officer-NOB (March - August 2018), including
management of the signed protocol with National Aid Fund(NAF)
▪ Transaction of monthly payment to beneficiaries, including preparation of UNICEF due
diligences as per Bayanati IMS' data, managing the relationship with the bank and providing
troubleshooting supervision.

Mainstreaming the programme's inclusion of the most vulnerable children via enhancing the
programmes targeting scope and methodology (e.g. development of a vulnerability index for
Makani)
▪ Data analysis and reporting around the programmes’ outputs. Used to inform JPRs and
programmatic planning
▪ Sub-sectoral coordination amongst UNICEF sections, with Makani IPs, and with third parties
(i.e. contractors)
▪ Quality assurance thorough development of internal and external guidelines, tools, and
systems. This included introducing innovative solutions for programmatic and operational
challenges/gaps. (e.g. establishment of an ICT system for field observations tracking and
documentation, including automated notifications and real time data analysis/visualization.
▪ Establishment and follow up on JCO’s Helpline to address UNICEF’s mandate of providing
accountability to affected populations. This included establishing an interactive system that
allows internal cases referrals and tracking.
▪ Field Support through programme visits, FGDs and monitoring spot-checks.
Production of knowledge management materials to support partners. e.g. Makani SOP,
Makani IEC material on different topics such as education referrals' priorities and procedures.
▪ Setting the criteria and methodology for Makani centers rationalization in host communities
▪ Training planning and delivery to Makani partners.
▪ Designing monitoring and quality assurance tools and guidelines (e.g centers' cost efficiency
and capacity assessment, Makani targets calculation tool, harmonized rates for centers staff
and volunteers, a standardized budget template for Makani IPs, a training data collection tool,
etc.)
Supporting sections' different programmes through regular field visits and FGDs.
▪ Participating in data analysis around UNICEF programmes (i.e. child cash grant)
▪ Supporting partners in the roll out of UNICEF’s information management system "Bayanati"
through providing direct guidance and trainings to Makani staff.
▪ Conducting and chairing multiple introductory workshops to front line staff on the
components of UNICEF's inter-sectorial program "Makani"
▪ Knowledge management and analysis: Compiling "Programmatic and implementation best
practices" of the Makani programme, writing Makani video script and producing Makani guidance
documents’, data collection and research (i.e. Co-production internal fact sheets on the welfare of
children in Jordan, and participation in a literature review on the welfare of refugee children in HCs.
▪Studying the NGO's situation, catchment area, gaps,
and needs; in order to draft and
implement a comprehensive outreach plan.
▪ Planning and organizing a fundraising event.
▪ Managing and promoting the NGO's social media.
▪ Awareness raising among youth, in public
universities, about leadership and volunteerism.
Designing and conducting a market needs’ survey.
▪ Co-producing annual work plans and strategies.
▪ Participating in the concept development and product design of a hygienic cart cover, as per
the needs and feedback of end users (parents of toddlers).
▪ Coordinating with local factories and producers on the field level.
