• Zain Kuwait MW transmission Swap Project
- Zain requested a proposal for Backhaul MW transmission Swap to upgrade the capacity In order to accommodate with the increased traffic demand for mobile and fixed broadband services.
- Our team was responsible for redesigning MW transmission network topology, Link Budget calculations, Frequency assignment and interference analysis, and finally creating the Bill of Quantity of NEC required material.
• Zain Iraq MW transmission Swap projects
- Zain Iraq network is currently migrating from legacy transmission technology (TDM) to all IP. The current transmission network is not suitable to accommodate increased traffic from newly planned 3G services.
- MW transmission is not only used in RAN, it’s also used in Backbone and Core network where in most of the cases Core elements are not collocated.
- Another thing that adds more challenge to Zain Iraq projects is that our solution should be Hybrid and include all the material required to smoothly migrate from TDM to all IP.
South Iraq Project
• I was responsible for designing Zain Backbone network in Iraq South region. I have performed Link budget calculations, interference analysis and creating the Bill of Quantity of NEC required material.
South Area Region (Ammara, Kut, Dewaniya and Samawa)
• South region was a very challenging region for MW transmission due to the topography which creates LOS complexities and limits the flexibility in topology design.
• I was responsible for designing network topology, traffic dimensioning especially core traffic, link budget calculations, frequency assignment, interference analysis and creating the Bill of Quantity of NEC required material.
• Design and create a new LTE network for Maxytell Iraq, Kurdistan, and propose alternative plans.
• Playing an effective role in Zain Kurdistan 3G network project Team as creator a new network for 3G technology, plan the rehoming and build Backbone with calculating the capacity of each link.
• Working as a RF planner, Designer and site engineer in the Transmission Microwave Department (Part of the Planning Team for Zain Iraq& Site engineer for Zain Kuwait) for the 3G Networks.
• Responsible for upgrading and maintaining the network in Zain Kuwait in phase 7 of LTE project.
• Design and analysis and prepare the BOQs for many networks local and international ( MOI, KFH, ABB, MEW, Honeywell, NIC, Boubyan Bank, NBK, ABK, KNPC, MOD, Yemen, Chad, Sudan, Iraq, Kuwait, )
• Plan and design voice and data networks for enterprise customers.
• Revise and analyze planning scope and recommended revision for better link/ring.
• Analyze all occurring fading problems and performance.
• Installing, alignment and commissioning Microwave links (Aviat, NEC, HUAWEI).
• Installing, Alignment and Configuring Wireless Link Devices (Airaya).
• Leader of Communication Towers Projects.
• Searching and dealing with subcontractors.
• Have a good experience in using Pathloss.
• Do surveying and scanning for sites and mentioning the proposed location for antenna installation to ensure it has the required line of sight before proceeding.
• Prepare and complete the documentations of the survey and the installations for client.
