Monitor and analyze Key Risk Indicators (KRI) (dashboards) and communicate with related departments/sections.
Facilitate annual risk mapping and follow up on the generated risk action plan.
Develop and implement an annual work plan for the department that will be submitted to the Risk Management Committee (RMC) for review and approval.
Periodically meet with Heads of departments to discuss any risk related issues
Design, review and ensure ongoing adaptation of Risk Management policies and other internal rules.
To develop models, parameters and scenarios to be used to carry out the measurement and control of risks and to propose them to the Risk Management Committee for review.
Develop methodologies for the identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring and control of risks.
Propose appropriate policies and procedures for Risk Management.
Follow-up on corrective actions defined and implemented by the Heads of Departments.
Prepare comprehensive risk reports to the Risk Management Committee (monthly) and the Board (quarterly).
Assess and follow up on the observations, recommendations and requirements of the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) and generate required reports.
Prepare the agenda for the Risk Management Committee meetings and prepare and disseminate the minutes of meetings to the RMC members.
Conduct risk training to the unit's staff as well as the other departments (as needed).
Monitor the functionality of the core system "Web-Abacus" and communicate and coordinate with system provider (SDS) for any modifications, updates, and issues / problems.
Monitor credit, operational and financial risk indicators on a monthly basis.
Conduct credit risk analysis (vintage, transition analysis).
Report to the Risk management committee any issues related to liquidity and market risk.
Maintaining the General Ledger and the Sub ledger and controlling all daily recorded transaction at Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable to be complied with International Accounting Standard.
Preparing closing transactions at end of each month in order to report the required financial reporting to the Finance Manager.
Preparing the sustainability report in regular bases and report it directly to the Finance Manager. Maintaining company’s loans and credit facilities and preparing the regular reporting for the outstanding balances, interest calculation and controlling the loan payment.
Maintaining the reconciliation of the disbursement bank accounts.
Controlling all issued checks to the suppliers by the due dates.
Controlling all branches tellers and acting as permanent Member for any investigation committee (Fraud cases). Supervising and Coaching junior financial officer, loan officers and tellers (cash handling policy, Incentives calculations).
Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status.
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines. Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
