Coordinate with head of quality assurance and/or operation Mhr. in order to implement and maintain high level of quality standard of the station services.
1. Responsible for the daily monitoring of the unit’s hygiene and food safety standard, and reporting the same in the respective shift report.
2. Responsible for hygiene & food safety training courses to food handling staffs.
3. Supervises and maintains pest control activities carried out by the Pest Control Contractor for the unit and other business units on a daily basis except Friday.
4. Participate in Food Tasting in coordination with the production / customer service department
5. Responsible for drawing food samples / water & ice cube samples for bacteriological analysis and forwarding to central laboratory in JED.
6. Responsible for preparation of media for hand prints / cleaning control and conducting test as per schedule.
7. Responsible for complete record keeping of the department as per ISO norms.
8. Authorized to reject unacceptable food shipments in coordination with the concerned heads of the unit in the respective shifts and informing Head, Hygiene & Food Safety.
9. Participate in the ISO 22000 / HACCP Internal Audit of the unit if need arises.
10. Responsible for customer complaint handling / investigations with the concerned department, and feedback to customer services dept.
11. Responsible for the Food Handler’s Medical Evaluation Instructions as issued by the Medical Department for necessary action.
12. Responsible for conducting Hygiene Inspection of the Staff Feeding Outlets, Ramp Offices, Lounge, and other business units based on company requirements.
13. Coordinate with the Head, of Hygiene & Food Safety regarding all hygiene and food safety issues of the unit.
14. Monitor and follow-up on the health card certificate / medical check-up for all food handlers.
15. Responsible for any additional assignment/s given by the Head of Hygiene & Food Safety from time-to-time.
