I firstly worked as a supervisor/leader of the Qatar-Brazil project and therefore represented Qatar in Brazil through organising many cultural events to promote Qatar as a tourist destination.

I am now currently the Head of Cultural programming development which involves managing a group of people and delegating roles associated with culture, government, and events management.

The project is part of a bigger plan about cultural exchange between Qatar and many other nations (Brazil, Japan, UK, Germany, China, Russia, France, USA, India and KSA) to establish cultural base until 2021 for the Qatar plans of 2022.

Qatar Brazil 2014 is a year-long project that was launched in December 2013 to run from January 2014 to December 2014.
A series of cultural, sporting, educational and business-related activities. The events will showcase the unique aspects of each nation, as well as the shared interests of their citizens. Individual events will be of a varied duration and will include exhibitions, performances, film screenings, conferences, sports events, collaborative projects, seminars and cultural exchanges.

Responsibilities
•Strengthen cultural relations between the peoples of Qatar and Brazil through arts, heritage, science, sport and educational activities.
•To promote the mutual understanding, appreciation and celebration of contemporary and traditional Qatari and Brazilian cultures and societies.
•To strengthen and deepen relations between Qatar and Brazil in the spirit of innovation, openness and learning
•To present a series of events and exchanges in Qatar and Brazil in the arts, heritage, sport, science and education.
•Foster the exchange of culture and ideas between institutions and individuals.
•Expand Brazilian audiences perceptions of Qatari arts and culture.
•Expand Qatari audiences perceptions of Brazilian arts and culture
•Encourage tourism and business travel to Qatar and Brazil.
•Nurture partnerships and develop future opportunities for collaboration between Qatar and Brazil Business men.

This position required great knowledge and care.
