Being a protocol travelling around the world to support and represent Qatar. This involved organising many cultural events globally in order to promote tourism in Qatar.
I worked here as a travel agent being responsible for booking flights and holidays for customers and offering advice on a range of destinations and services. This required great knowledge of a range of destinations in order to offer advice on the best places to visit. I was also required to match destinations to suit customers needs and therefore choosing the best places to cater for a wide range of customers of different ages and preferences. This position required great knowledge and care.
My role here was a ticketing supervisor which involved working on the front desk in ticketing, and cargo. I was mainly responsible for VIP guests and visitors when attending the airport. This has enabled me to become more confident with adhering to the needs of important visitors. I also worked here as a protocol which meant that excellent communications skills were essential as I was the guests first point of contact.
