Group IT Director, Siniora Food Industries, Jordan, Palestine, Dubai, and KSA.
Responsibilities: As the Group IT Director, I was responsible for the following: -Creation of business objective, goals and strategies to achieve these goals (OGSM), develop an action plan for the application of strategies.
-Plan, Organize, control and evaluate the all overall activities related to Information systems
-Develop and review budgets for the IT department and ensure they comply with stated goals, guidelines, and objectives.
-Review performance of IT systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements.
-Benchmark, analyze report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and IT
systems to cope with the updated techniques in the world taking into consideration the cost benefit analysis and the corporate framework.
-Develop bid requirements for all hardware and software upgrades, reviews submitted bids for compliance with stated
requirements, and makes the appropriate award.
-Preparation of the IT project plans and following up on the execution according to defined time frame.
-Implementing new Project Management standards & methodologies to ensure project completion in the proper manner.
-Supervise & Coordinates all project tasks for all aspects (Technical, Financial, and Managerial)
-Monitor project spending and making sure to comply with the estimated budget.
-Define tasks priorities and manage its execution according to the project definition.
-Resolve all problems / issues that face the project execution.
-Managing & conducting meetings with the different departments involved in project execution (Customer side & Company side)
-Delegate project tasks to the relevant team members & follow up its execution according to plan.
-Supervise & Monitor the quality of work on all project aspects.
-Coordinate & supervise proper reporting of the project status to the C.E.O.
-Coordinate & Supervise proper documentation of all project activities.
-Monitor project team performance and making all necessary measures to overcome any obstacles.
-Prepares the preventives maintenance plan relating to the IT hardware, software, tools, equipments, and provides the maintenance services to all departments.
-Install new software releases, system upgrades evaluate and install Patches and resolve system software related
problems.
-Supervises and manages IT staff and ensure on their developments by continual follow up, delegate, motivates and trains where needed
-Monitors performance of his staff through regular meetings and work review.
- Lead the ERP project to ensure successful implementations in our company.
-Training the employees on the company system and procedures for computer equipment.
-Create procedures and maintain Computer operations and technical related documentation.
-Coordinate with Procurement Dept. for purchase computer equipments and the Finance Dept. for Budget follow-ups.
