• Lead and be a part of team of designers and engineers to complete basic and detail engineering
• Review of contract documents & identify scope, requirement and main hurdles during execution of job
• Prepare engineering schedule and resource requirements.
• Establish or review of client specification, standards and list of deliverables such as data sheets, GA drawings, layouts, stress analysis, BOM’s etc.
• Monitor engineering schedule, identify areas of concern and take corrective action. Assign tasks to team members as per their skills and train and guide the team members as required
• Coordinate with other disciplines and vendors as required. Review drawings received from vendors and provide technical input / data as required.
• Guide team members to perform calculation e.g. pipe wall thickness, piping stress analysis and report generation and make sure that these calculations are performed as per project specification and governing codes
• Supervise and monitor activities like 3d model generation, equipment layouts, piping layouts, spool drawings, MTO generation, and vendor / subcontractor bid evaluation.
• Review 3d model and conduct 30%, 60%, 90% and 100% model review with client or other engineering disciplines as required.
• Meeting with clients as required, resolving any technical issue.
• Interface and provide clarifications, guidance and technical support to Construction and Commissioning teams as required.
• Ensure compliance with company’s ISO quality manual during the execution of project
• Perform structural design calculations of module packages and pipe racks
• Perform lifting and transportation analysis of complex skid packages
