Lead Auditor in ISO - 9001, 18001 & 14001 management systems. TRIPOD Beta investigator, AGT Assessor, H2S Trainer, E leaning administrator for HSE courses. Familiar with the preparation of project specific HSE plan, HSEMS implementation, TNA, accident investigation, working towards improving the positive safety culture, traffic management at project site, conducting audits, site inspections and site tours, fire fighting, fire prevention, testing of fixed fire fighting installations, installation and commissioning of fixed fire fighting installation, CADD drafting
Risk assessment and risk mitigation measures on-site and before the commencement of projects. Undertake corrective and preventive measures to ensure a proper environment and health for the organization and its stakeholders. Propose corrective or preventive measures, and investigates, analyzes and reviews accidents or near misses within the organization. To ensure regular emergency response is effective and that managers and employees are prepared at all times, designs and conducts drills, both announced and unannounced. Coordinates HSE subordinate staff working under me, and ensures that work safety permits are enforced. Gap analysis, preparation policy, system procedures, operational control procedure, risk assessments, internal audit, awareness training programmes on OHSAS 18001 EMS, risk assessment, training, etc. Assisting the Management staff to get Certification
Managing EPC HSE officers, gap analysis of HSE MS, liaison with line management and supporting them in implementing HSE issues in assigned areas.
Responsible for monitoring safety standards and ensuring adherence to safety norms throughout the project.
Assisting in problem solving and motivating them to providing a safe work place.
Chairing the weekly HSE management walkabout meetings.
Safety compliances inspection of all critical equipments before entry to site.
Approving lifting study done by EPC contractor an giving suggestions for safe critical lifting.Co ordination with the site Rescue and Medical team in case of Emergency.
Conducting different HSE Inspections and audits on contractors and ensuring the observations are closed out for safe operation.
Coordinating and follow-up health risk assessment/health management plans on site
Approving Level 1 & Level 2 Permit to work in concerned areas.
• Define the resources required to implement the Plan;
• Developing, reviewing and act as focal person HSE elements of the Project Management System, including supporting plans and procedures;
• HSE Management implementation consistent with Project requirements;
• Ensure that procedures for identification of hazards during site activities are implemented consistently with existing operational procedures and safeguards, including implementation of task based risk assessments;
• Advise on HSE aspects of site activities and support provision of safeguards as identified in risk assessment
• Advise and assist on the development of procedures for identification and management of hazards during engineering
• Ensuring that HSE training needs are identified, and sufficient resources and time are allocated by the Project Team for HSE training;
• Identify medical and security support requirements for site/offshore related activities, and ensure resources are allocated;
• Initial preparation of medical and security related procedures covering site/offshore related activities in later stages of the project;
• Providing HSE expertise in support of the risk management process;
• Assisting investigation of incidents;
• HSSE Liaison with Contractor(s), regulatory authorities;
• Coordinating HSE data collection to meet Project reporting requirements;
• Participating in HSE Audits;
• Developing in conjunction with Company Management HSE Targets/Performance Standards for the Project;
• Providing verbal and written reports to the Project Manager, the Project Team and Corporate HSE functions on all aspects of HSE;
• Assisting the Project team to resolve HSE issues in a timely and effective manner.
Preparation on Safe Operational Procedures for the works on board in ships, LNG CARRIERS, CARGO SHIPS ETC.
Supervision & preparation safe lifting, trnasfer and handling methods for cylinders
Maintaining quality of service and records to meet the ISO standard.
Co ordination of work on board with ship’s captain regarding permit to work, confined space entr, y advising the servicing team to follow safe system of work
Installation and pressure testing of CO2 FM 200 systems, on board servicing of Medical oxygen sets, BA sets Compressors, Fixed fir fighting systems, air sample analysis etc.
Preparation of schemes and Pland for approval by development authority.Detailed drawings, 3Ds. site visits for inspections.
