Child Protection, Save the Children Jordan (August, 2013 to present)
· Define the scope of the program by creating a detailed work plan to identify program requirements,
stakeholders, and sequence the activities needed to achieve the required outcomes.
· Determine constraints and resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the
program.
· Develop a schedule for program completion that effectively allocates resources to activities.
· Determine objectives and measures upon which the program will be evaluated at its completion.
· Develop transparent monitoring and evaluation tools to reflect the impact of the program.
· Monitor and evaluate the progress of the program and make adjustments as necessary to ensure work
efficiency.
· Create information exchange schedule with stakeholders on the progress of the program.
· Coordinate with partners regarding Child Protection, as well as, other departments to accommodate
project inquires.
· In consultation with the appropriate manager, recruit, interview and select staff and/or volunteers with
appropriate skills.
· Ensure that all program personnel receive an appropriate orientation of the organization and the
program.
· Working with Partners such as; Community Based Organizations and building the capacity to
increase the quality of programming.
· Manage program staff and/or volunteers according to standards, policies, and procedures of the
organization.
· Conduct field visits to monitor the program site to provide staff with technical support and
appropriate guidance in timely manner to meet program requirements.
· Monitor, track and approve all budgeted project expenditures, as well as, monitoring cash flow
projections, report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis.
· Manage all program funds according to donor compliance.
· Ensure that the program deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality in
reference to a prepared and updated work plan.
· Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation in line with donor requirements.
· Evaluate and analyze the outcomes of the program as established during the planning phase.
· Participate in preparing annual program reports and annual meetings.
