• Conducting trainings and designing training materials.

• Supporting the users during testing and ensuring that key reports are tested and signed-off.
• Migrating the historical data to SAP.

• Reviewing the 8 quarter supply chain cost rolling forecast and commenting on the variances.
• Supervising the accounting for supply chain cost.
• Owning the transfer pricing process. Scrutinizing the transfer prices received from other countries.
• Reviewing the product prices from third parties.
• Partnering with the supply chain team in areas like Distribution, Warehouse, Buying Savings, Capex, working capital etc.
• Analyzing the gross margins for the business and recommending the areas to improve.
• Also playing the role of U2K2 (SAP) Country process lead for Supply chain finance. The project went live successfully on 1st Oct. 2009.

• Finalizing the monthly results, sharing the analysis with Chairman and Finance Director highlighting the variances and reasons.
• Discussing forecast with Corporate Finance Director, VP Finance and Chairman, highlighting gaps Vs Target and previous forecast.
• Writing monthly business performance commentaries and sending to regional office post Chairman and VP finance review.
• Managing queries from local business units and regional office (Singapore).
• Budgeting Indirects and performing month to month variance analysis.
• Steering the annual planning (Budget) process for the company to ensure regional guidelines are strictly adhered to.
• Consolidating the company SIA and Balance score card after discussions with Functional heads and Chairman. Monthly update of SIA and Balance score card for MC meetings and Cluster reporting.

• Accurate and timely monthly reporting to regional office including the results and the Gross Profit variance analysis.
• Managing regional and local queries.
• Consolidating actual monthly results.
• Coordinating with Business units for annual plan.

• Preparing the rolling financial forecast.
• Business partnering through Product costing, Margin analysis and Pricing.
• Analyzing the variances (actual vs forecast) and recommending the corrections to bring it back on track.

• Finalizing the Factory cost by SKUs and reporting to Head office, ensuring that the costing is accurate. Performing quarterly stock checks.
• Finalizing production cost and cost of goods sold.
• Preparing monthly factory operating expenses and variance analysis.
• Calculating monthly Oil yield and Raw & Packaging materials wastage and discussions with Works manager.
• Reviewing steam and power consumption and wastages and allocation to product.
• Reviewing the Factory operating expenses and variances vs budget.
• Reconciling finished goods and raw materials i.e. physical Vs books and performing cycle count.
• Work orders back-flushing (back-flush accounting) through MfgPro (ERP system
• Preparing cost accounts in line with the “Cost audit rules”, a new legislation introduced by Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan in 1998 for selected industries.
