Q-Tec Switchgear is a manufacturer of switchgear in Qatar, as an OEM Partner with ABB. Plant also responsible for manufacturing of DB/SMDB for ABB under contract manufacturing.

Reporting to Managing Director with responsibility for Business P&L, along with managing plant operations for Switchgear. Directing for new product development, Industrialization, Developing and maintaining Quality systems, Manufacturing, Business Development, with Customer satisfaction as final objective. Creating competitive and breakthrough strategies & plans.

Kirloskar electrical is company manufacturing switchgears, electric motors, and transformers in India. Plant in Mysore is fully engaged in the manufacturing of 11 k V switchgears with SF6 and Vacuum circuit breakers.

Reporting to Deputy Managing Director, with responsibility for Business P&L, along with managing end to end plant operations for MV Switchgear manufacturing.

Areva T&D headquartered in France was global player in Transmission and distribution equipment’s which was acquired by Schneider in 2011.Plant in Vadodara was for manufacturing air insulated and gas insulates switchgear.

Reported to R&D Director India and was responsible for establishing, development and performance of SDS R&D Center with specialized global projects for Cost Out, Customization, New products like SF6 Free switchgears.

General Electric’s arm GE India exports Pvt Ltd is design center for General electric to cater needs of global markets for LV and MV Switchgears.

Reported to India Team Leader, I was responsible for establishing, development and performance of Medium voltage R&D team and mentor the team for new product development, work with global teams on how to apply six sigma methods and reliability definitions on switchgear product, support South-east Asia market for panel builders’ business strategy.

Reported to Technology Center manager, I was responsible for concept formulation, detailed design,
Transfer of Technology (ToT), and work with international technology centers from Sweden, Switzerland,
Italy, Poland with ABB gate models, risk management and project management methods.

Role & Achievements:
• Manage R&D projects using Project management methods and tools collaborating with international
teams from Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, China, India.
• Working in global complex matrix with prominent level of interpersonal skills completed the Transfer
of Technology (ToT) for arc eliminator between two European teams displaying very quick adaptabil
ity to ABB practices, promoted as project manager within 6 months of joining.
• Lead cost reduction, Industrialization projects for Arc eliminators, Capacitor based switchgears like
new technologies.

Al Ahelia Switchgear Company is manufacturer located in Kuwait, and supplies various products like Air insulated, Gas insulated switchgear, RMU in Middle east market.

Reported to R&D Head, I was responsible for concept, detailed design, Transfer of Technology (ToT), work for prototyping and type testing in international laboratories like KEMA Netherland. I have led the industrialization of product line for SF6 RMU for first order execution.

CG Lucy switchgear is the first company in India to launch Oil RMU and later SF6 RMU for utility networks. Located in Nashik the main objective is to assembly RMU with every component and assembly outsourced and supply part, subassembly, assembly to UK and south Africa factories of Lucy Electric UK.

Reported to QA Manger was responsible for end-to-end management of supplier quality development Localization, supplier audits, supplier rating improvements in terms of delivery & Quality.
