• Supervising lifting equipment inspection contract services, examining elevating work platforms suspended work platforms (cradles), EOT Cranes, as well as hydraulic/pneumatic, operated tugged winches, man rider winches, and Runway Beams, Monorail Beams.
• Contributing to inspection and evaluations of Hand Powered Equipment’s (Chain Block, Lever Hoist, Jaw Winches, beam trolleys, Snatch block, Hydraulic Jacks, Fall Arrestors, Tripod stand, etc.) and Lifting Gears (Wire ropes, Wire rope sling, Shackles, Hooks, Sheave blocks, webbing slings, pad eyes, eye bolts, etc.)
• Developing and maintaining the technical integrity of lifting equipment of offshore containers, man riding baskets, material baskets, line spool skids, Hydro Jetting Pump Skid as well as cargo nets, Jumbo bags and tensile test beds, calibration of load cells.
• Providing advocacy for inspection, maintenance, application, procurement, modification, and contract of lifting equipment.
• Maintaining and executing accurate inspection schedules and records, offering inputs to weekly HSE safety meetings, identifying, and reporting on near-misses and incidents at the site.
• Fully aware of all preparation of HSE statistics for critical heavy lifts during the execution of the project and suggesting cost-effective compliance strategy, additionally reviewing NDT reports and welding of the fabricated lifting equipment in addition to identifying corrosion issues.
• Completing rotary equipment inspection & services and providing approvals for Permit to Work and promptly reporting on safety issues to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Commanding all risk assessments programs by developing necessary organizational preparedness, JHA preparations and control measures for the safe execution of inspection and testing of lifting equipment.
• Participating in Pre-start meeting with various clients relating to inspection projects and organizing Toolbox Talks to instruct all associated personnel on testing and inspection methodology of Lifting equipment and accessories.
• Carrying out biannual lifting inspections, reviewing all Third-Party Lifting equipment certifications from the contractors, and complying with QP’s and/or international Lifting Equipment standards and procedures.
• Imparting training on basic rigging, slinging training, and general safety training; crane, self-loading, EOT operations, forklift, heavy equipment, mobile elevated work platform, and mobile crane operations, etc.

• Scheduled workflow, issued daily work permits, and examined a variety of cranes, MEWPS, elevators, escalators, loaders, lifts, forklifts, vehicle lifts, excavators, generators, horizontal/vertical drilling machine/tools, wire line cable rotating equipment’s, road making machines/rollers, cement mixers, wire rope cable pressing machines, winches, generators, etc.
• Validated, tested, and examined mast elevating work platforms/suspended work platforms (cradles), EOT cranes; hydraulic/pneumatic winches; runway/monorail beams; a variety of hand-powered equipment, lifting gears/lifting sets of offshore containers, man riding baskets, material baskets, line spool skids, hydro jetting pump skid, etc.
• Inspected cargo nets, Jumbo bags and calibrated tensile test beds/ load cells as well as examined critical heavy lifts and witnessed heavy lift operations.
• Carried-out on-site inspection, tested, adjusted, and maintained lifting, handling equipment and rotary equipment as well as performed risk assessments for the lifting equipment to ensure safe site activities.
• Coordinated pre-inspection meetings, inspection programs, pressure tests, speed balances, mechanical performance tests, nondestructive testing, etc.
• Ensured all activities are in accordance with safety rules and regulations in addition to implementing toolbox talks, safety meeting and HSE meetings before and throughout the project duration.
