I am a Metallurgical Engineer having 44 Years’ Experience in Manufacturing, Plant Management; Purchase, Project Coordination & as Radiation Professional in Iron & Steel Industry. Presently I am working as a Group Member in IRON AND STEEL TECH ENGINEERS.
I had also work experience at Iron & Steel Plant Companies, Uttam Galva Metallics Limited, Ind Synergy Limited for Project Coordination & Purchase, In Steel Plant of Zenith Limited & other companies in India

Since April 01, 2008 to Date - Worked as Asst. General Manager (Project Coordinator) in “Uttam Galva Metallic Limited”. Since 1st September up to date: Working here only as a “Project Coordinator/Purchase. Here I am looking after Purchase/Project Coordinator of Capital Goods, Blast Furnace(450m³), Sinter Plant ( 75m²), Coke Oven Project ( 0.5 MTPA) etc along with consumable Items from CHINA . Later the Status of Completion of the Project Unit is Monitored including Initial Working of the Unit at the Project Site, now procurement of all spare items for the whole unit is under progress
Worked as “Asst. General Manager, Sales” in “Transweigh (India) Ltd”. Here responsibility was to Coordinate, Production, Material, Dispatch & Sales Departments to boost up dispatch as per the ‘Pre-Planned Schedule’ by the Company.
Worked as an “Assistant General Manager (QC, Purchase)” in “Ind Synergy Ltd.” Initially for a month, I have worked in Mumbai Office with purchase Dept. From Sep. 2005 I was working in their Plant at Kotmar Village in Raigarh Dist. at Chhattisgarh. The Plant is having Sponge Iron Unit, Steel Plant Unit and Rolling Mill I was looking after quality of the finished product such as Steel Billets, in which along with chemical composition; the Surface & Macro Analysis is conducted. The quality of Sponge Iron produced & dispatched was observed too. The raw material inputs were analyzed, along with incoming inspection of material used in upcoming Projects are done before dispatch in various Industries & further in our Q.C. Department as per requirement. Since 20th of March 2006, I was working with ‘Purchase Dept’ as AGM (PURCHASE). From 5th of April 15, 2006, I was transferred to our ‘Mumbai’ office in Purchase Department. Here I was looking after purchase of Equipments for the “Integrated Iron & Steel plant” of 0.4-0.5 MTA Capacity. The Equipments were Sinter Plant:36 M2, 0.44MTPA, Blast Furnace:260M3, 0.3MTPA, Electric Arc Furnace, VD/VOD, CCM & Rolling Mill (Bar Mill & Wire Rod Mill).
Work Profile: & Achievements:
Developing project feasibility reports to setup manufacturing units for various products and managing the execution of selected projects.
Coordinating with various Projects including selection of technical equipments & the implementations.
Identified the supply chain and developed several feasibility reports for scrap based and sponge iron based steel units, with capacity ranging from 0.3 to 0.5 million tons per annum.
The organizations collaborate with during this period include Krupp, Korf Engineering Gmbh and Hamburger Stahlwerke of Germany and Voestalpine of Austria.
In association with senior consultants like Mr. S.N. Singh, I have assisted to make “Project Reports” for upcoming Steel Plants in India & Abroad. Able to make association with Consultants can make Feasibility Study and detailed Feasibility Report. Sufficient knowledge of Induction Furnace & its comparison in terms of Advantage & Disadvantage/Limitations with Electric Arc Furnace as per its utilization in the particular Steel Plant. At present the improvement in Power Consumption & Production along with saving in Production Cost of one the Unit with Induction Furnace is done. .
