JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Server Administration
Experienced in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and maintenance) using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Experience in VSTS, TFS, Build Definitions, Release Management, PowerShell.
Implementing scripts with PowerShell for Runbooks.
Experience in deploying applications in webserver, application server and database server.
Experience in developing and maintaining build, deployment scripts for test, staging and production environment using Azure Pipelines.
Installation and configuration of Apache, Tomcat /Web logic on Linux.
Installation and configuration of Dot Net applications on Windows IIS Server.
Understanding of test automation tools and strategies (such as JUnit, Selenium, etc.)
Working knowledge of source code and configuration management solutions (Git)
Working knowledge and administrator experience of Continuous Integration strategies and tools (such as Jenkins and Azure Pipelines)
Excellent team player with problem-solving and trouble-shooting capabilities.
Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Excellent work ethics, self-motivated and quick learner, willing to learn, adapts new technologies and third-party products.
Experienced in dealing with Various Azure DevOps Featured Services like Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Test Plans.
Experienced in various features configuration in Repo Services like Version Control management of Azure Repos and GIT Hub Repo.
Experienced in various features configuration in Pipeline Services like Defining the build and release pipelines for Infrastructure, application and database related Pipeline implementation with various stages according to the requirement
Experience in implementing the Service Connections with Various third-party tools like GITHUB, Azure, Jenkins, Docker and other tools.
Server build activities like Provisioning of VM's with windows OS (or) RedHat Linux (RHEL) using Terraform.
Installation, Configuration and modification of VM extensions
Infrastructure planning such as Compute, Storage, Network for High Availability
Documentation of Infrastructure changes and management of standard operating procedures, test plans and providing best practices for the processes
• Creating Change Management Document according to ITIL Process for all Windows Servers if any change is required in environment.
• Resolving Incidents and Problems on day to day basis meeting Service line Agreements.
• Responsible for providing level-2 support and handle escalated issue.
• Raising Incident, Task, and Change tickets as and when required.
• Attending Team Meetings, Problem Meeting and Change Meetings on regular basis.
• Involved in server monitoring by working closely with monitoring team using System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM).
• Handled SCOM Administration in different Projects.
• Experience on VM storage EMC.
• Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Environment and unix environment.
• Virtual server’s installation in VM ware, managing and trouble shooting.
