During the development cycle, from design to launch of Jio World Drive worked through and supported multiple
functions and progressively undertook responsibilities - leasing, HOTO from project team, pre-opening & launch,
handing over premises to retailers and liaison with government agencies during pre-opening and operations.
• Leasing
o Developed and executed leasing strategy, zoning plan and brand mix for Jio World Drive and Jio World
Plaza
o Successfully led and concluded leasing discussion and documentation with anchors, inline retailers and
F&B operators for Jio World Drive and Jio World Plaza
o Jio World Drive launched with 90% occupancy and 74% of the stores operational in October 2021
• Design coordination
o Managed retail design coordination process for retailers and operators in collaboration with Vindico
Retail Management (Dubai) and Code Design (Sydney)
o Led design coordination with key anchor and its consultants (architect, structural, MEP, project
management) for their first flagship store in India at Jio World Drive.
• Development
Actively involved in various aspects of the design and development process.
o Determined and concluded scope of work and terms of appointment for various consultants, security,
retail design coordination agency, property management agency.
o Worked on defining positioning and brand mix for Jio World Drive and Jio World Plaza
o Coordinated with the consultants, project team, architecture team and operations team for
preparation of design & fit-out guidelines, and operation manual/ house rules
o Prepared legal and leasing related templates
o Collaborated with the various teams to prepare the operating strategy, common area management
(CAM) expense estimates and staffing requirements
o Prepared operating budget including service charge/CAM estimates and lease revenue forecasts
