Core building the windows 2003/2008 servers & promoting the servers as AD, Web, Database, Mail, File, Cluster, FTP & Backup servers based on the technology requirement.
Managing web-server by hosting HTTP/HTTPS/FTP sites & deploying virtual directories through batch file & through deployment tool. Also handling website’s certificate related issues & IIS 6.0/7.0/7.5 (Basic Level) related issues.
Installation & configuration of backup server. Backup scheduling, monitoring & troubleshooting in case of any failures of backup jobs/backup related applications & devices. Performing restorations from backup sets based on the user requests.
Responsible for IT Security management as per the company’s IT security policy.
Evaluating & implementing new products with respect to the company’s requirement.
Responsible for Internet bandwidth management. (Load balancing system).
Responsible for server deployment (New requirement & re-deployment) as per the policy.
Hardware & Software preventive maintenance should be carried out periodically as per the schedule. Ensuring the disaster recoveries for all the critical servers & equipments.
Monitoring firewall, router, leased lines, OFC & RF links function status.
Troubleshooting LTO4, LTO2 & VTL devices with vendor support.
Completing the goals on time, which have set for me on quarterly basis. (Performance Monitoring).
Ensuring the anti-Virus regular auto-update & scanning on all the servers as per the schedule (Schedule - daily auto-update & scanning weekly once).
Preparing proposal for procuring new H/w or S/w products. Supporting for IT Budget process.
