Responsible for all of QA QC Civil related activities.
To ensure that all execution and inspection are carried out as per inspection plan / drawings / codes & specifications.
To carry out inspection & certify all necessary inspections during various stages of site activities as per approved inspection and test plan.
Perform pre-inspection to ensure that all the materials are within the standard.
Release notifications of Non-Conformities and follow up their resolution.
Follow up and report Non-Conformities Preventive & Corrective actions
Collate information and prepare weekly/ monthly activity report
Responsible for Inspecting site conditions prior to start of construction activities. Verifying the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works. Checking for obstructions. Photograph and document the condition of existing property that might be damaged by the work. Making sure all existing structures, property, utilities and landscaping are properly protected.
Reviewing materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials and equipment and report findings.
Checking that materials delivered to site are properly stored and report discrepancies.
Inspecting the construction of temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with the Contract Documents and approved shop drawings and submittals.
Preparing daily logs and reports. Maintain records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed, etc. Performing all work in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
Observing site safety practices and the progress of the work. Reporting any concerns.
Assisting with the inspection of completed works. Helping prepare punch lists.
Observes work in progress to ensure that procedures are followed and materials used confirm to specifications.
Ensures that proper safety procedures are followed in co-operation with the Health & Safety Engineer.
Takes samples of various materials tests and co-operation with Quality Engineer.
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work co-operatively and jointly to provide a quality streamline service.
Perform all other duties given by direct manager.
Responsible for planning & execution of launching shaft & cut & cover at Mandi house station.
Checking, supervising and documenting work related to field.
Adopted D-wall (top down) cut and covers methodology for shaft & cut and cover.
Responsible for planning and scheduling.
Responsible for execution of temporary & permanent substructure involving piles, diaphragm wall, top slab, base slab in TBM Launching chamber & cut and cover.
Implementation of all method statements of the Metro works as well as the temporary works for Mandi House Station.
Liaise with the Client/Consultant for the day to day activities of the project.
Subcontractors work allocation, billing and Coordination.
Responsible for the implementation of Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Management System Procedure (MSP).
Checking, supervising and documenting work related to field.
Responsible for coordinating all inspection and test requirements of the project at all stages of process/production as per the PQP and contract requirement.
Liaising with QHSE System Unit for implementation of quality management system requirements and coordinating internal/external quality audits and follow-up audits.
Conducting monthly review meeting of QA / QC performance of the project.
Four monthly quality performance analyses in regard to effectiveness of process and implementation of Quality Management System at site, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Level of customer satisfaction, Analysis of Non-Conformances, Quality trend related to product etc.
Spearheaded implementation of Inspection Test Plan, Method Statement and Quality Control work related to project activities.
Responsible for quality control in all phases of construction of:
o New Delhi Station box and launch of shaft chamber of AMEL (C1) of DMRC.
o Substructure involving secant piles, diaphragm wall, soldier pile, kingpost pile, ground anchor, shotcret & rock bolting.
o Primary & secondary grouting in the tunnel according to MS. Inspection of precast segment before and after ring building.
Implemented method statements of the Metro as well as the temporary works for New Delhi Station.
Responsible for the quality testing of construction materials.
Maintained documentation of tests conducted at the site and at independent laboratory.
Supervised complete quality control activities in concrete section and calibration of batching plants.
Responsible for day to day testing & up to date recording of documents.

o Cement as per IS such as Consistency, IST, FST, Fineness, Soundness, Compressive Strength, etc.
o Aggregates as per IS such as Grading, AIV, Flakiness, etc.
Prepared batch sheet supervision quality concrete of different grades as per design.
Calibrated batching plant of capacity 60 and 30 m3/hr.
Formulated QA / QC plans and involved in field and laboratory tests.
Generated daily and monthly report of quality testing work and submitted to Materials Engineer.
Supervised various test of DBM and BC as per IS such as Grading, Specific Gravity, AIV, LAV, Flakiness and Elongation, Softening Point, Penetration, Ductility, Extraction, Marshal Stability, etc.
Supervision of Design of concrete mix (M40, M35, M30, M25, M15, M20, M10, DLC, PQC) as per IS specification.
Supervision of Concrete Batching Plant of capacity 120, 90, 30 m3/hrs.
Checking and supervision of Batching Plant calibration in all respects of quality as well as calibration of lab equipments such as moisture meter, sand pouring cylinder, thermometer, etc.
Up-to-date documentation of test conducted in the lab and documentation of tests conducted at Independent laboratory. inspected incoming material. preparation of daily report as well as monthly report
Supervised entire field testing and quality control functions during embankment construction as per design and technical specifications of NTPC.
Tested HDPE pipes and sheets at manufacturer’s work place such as Puncher Resistance, Tear Resistance, Carbon Black Content, Oxidative Induction Time, etc.
Conducted various tests of:
o Soil as per IS, such as grain Size Analysis, Atterbergs Limit, Standard Proctor, Free Swell Index, Permeability by Falling Head Method.
o Sand IS such as Grain size analysis, Filter Criteria, Specific Gravity, Relative density, etc.
Checked the field density of Embankment by Core Cutting Method.
Collected samples of borrow area & NGL soil and tested for its suitability.
Checked the field density of Embankment, Subgrade, GSB & WMM by sand replacement method.
Conducted various test of:
o Soil as per IS, such as grain Size analysis, Atterbergs limit, Standard proctor, Free swell index, etc.
o Cement as per IS such as Consistency, IST, FST, Fineness, Soundness, Compressive Strength etc.
o GSB & WMM as per IS Such as Grain size analysis, Atterbergs limit, Proctor Compaction, C.B.R, and ten Percent Fines value for G.S.B, Flakiness and Elongation for W.M.M, etc.
