- Manage the vendor database including pre-qualification of new vendors and updating existing vendor list in order to maintain wide sources of supply.
- Understand research requirement and analyze the right methodology to be deployed for a particular project
- Prepare RFQs based on understanding gained from project managers for giving clear details to the vendors
- Review and approve RFQ’s in order to commence the purchase process for research services.
- Review purchase Orders for compliance with requirements and Commercial & economic viability, in order to obtain best value for money.
- Follow up and expedite suppliers to ensure high quality & timely delivery of services.
- Receive supplier invoice and check for correctness to forward it to accounts for payments.
- Communicate the requirement of operational procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor adherence to ensure all procurement activities are carried out in controlled manner.
- Manage the quality personnel to keep track of deliverable received from vendors.
