• Monitoring of material issues and consumption records of all major item in Electricity Distribution Network Department. Analyze the available stock & Construction-Maintenance demand forecast reports and preparing Bill of Quantities & budgetary Tender with necessary spare parts & accessories.
• Review Tender Documents to ensure completeness prior to issuing to Bidders. Review and reply to Bidders clarifications, participate in issuing Tender Bulletins and attending Technical Meetings with bidders during Tender stage.
• Preparation and Perform Technical Clarifications with Client/Vendors, Material Requisitions, Technical Evaluations report, Review & Comment of Vendors drawings and documents for all items. Writing management reports, technical reports and customer charters, Prequalification report preparation, attending MOM with clients, stock holders and follow up. Reviewing the Materials approval requisition for Private Projects and Government Utility Projects
• Prototype unit shall be inspected thoroughly in factory/manufacturer complex and corrective action shall be given based on safety, operation & Maintenance, International standards & specifications. Investigating & setting standards for quality, health and safety. Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality.
• Quality of the work shall be confirmed on each stage while manufacturing and none of the testing shall be excluded from the factory testing in any circumstances. Ensuring that manufacturing process comply with standards at both national and international level.
• Review the Electrical drawings, reports, specification and Materials by the manufacturer/supplier at each stage of the Design/Construction to ensure completeness, correctness, compliance with the Specification, standards & scope of work and agreements requirements, etc.
• Verifying the quality assurance manuals and procedures of suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the quality of materials. Review the manufacturer/supplier checklists and comments if any. Include all visual, mechanical, electrical, interlock, functional checks in the checklist.
• Inspection/witness for FAT including type test/routine test/special test/3rd party test etc. Review of type test matrix & type test certificates, Routine test certificates, technical documents, Raw material test certificates. Review of maintenance manuals, user manuals, operation manuals, maintenance spare parts, panel accessories, installation accessories, necessary tools & equipment’s for continuous operation of the equipment’s, etc.
• Prequalifying manufacturers of materials as per latest versions of specifications considering the quality of product and factory.
• Preliminary Inspection & RE-Inspection of delivered materials which are supplied under KM tenders or by clients. Preparing MIR, NCR
• Co-ordination work, on equipment failures & rectifications/replacements, with the concerned sections if any and implementing the corrective action on timely manner.
• Coordination with Design and Development Section and with the Technical Committee for preparation and revision of material specifications & standards.
• Data sheet preparation, ERP Item code preparation, specification review and updating, technical/commercial calculations review, budget & cost review/analysis

• Carryout the preliminary drawing review during the Design & construction stage. Review & analyze all the construction drawing & vendor drawing, providing information, guidance, engineering support to construction team and resolving the overall engineering issues.
• Attend Technical Meetings with the contractors, sub-contractors and company tea. Prepare & review Monthly report, weekly report, two weeks look ahead report; Work Methods Statement, JSA, forecast schedule of Bill of Quantities/Materials.
• Analyze and prepare report if any modification/improvements required during execution stage and report to the concern department for the same. Review any alternatives to the Design concept submitted by the contractors/subcontractors, prepare and submit a report including recommendation to Engineering Manager highlighting advantages and disadvantages of each alternative.
• Coordinate with Client/PMT to ensure that all documents related to the projects are properly controlled & approved. And ensure properly documented. And follow up for the inspection & invoice submitted with the Quality management team. Ensure & incorporate the comments raised from the PMT QC team from earlier stages if any.
• Review the materials proposed by the contractors and sub-contractors and propose alternatives to improve the quality, future maintenance, safety and cost effectiveness.
• Review in a timely manner for all the submittals including method statement, measurement sheets, inspection request, change order requests & variations submitted by the contractors & sub-contractors and forward the comments to the Engineering manager.
Various specification of Power, Control, I&C, FO Cable preparation of cable support drawings, selection of cable accessories, preparation of drum schedule, planning & execution.
Complete Installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, Operation & Maintenance of 11KV primary substations & 11KV/0.440V Distribution substation. 11KV HT Motors/Soft starters along with Mimic Local Control Panel, 11KV Generators (caterpillar), 11KV Neutral Ground Resistor(NGR), Common Control Panel (CCP), Generator Control Panel(GCP) & Interface with related DCS Marshalling panel, Operation station.
