Review new customer requests for their financial viability and approve credit limits.

Carry out field visits for customers demanding credit limits in excess of Dh 500k.

Develop customer categorization techniques to implement assessment criteria for transparency in credit limit allocations.

Design Customer Evaluation Matrix based upon the customer assessment criteria for assigning credit limits.

Ensure complete maintenance of customer files and perform regular review of their log book.

Review and ensure credit is not given to the customers in excess of their approved limits.

Approve SORs pending due to delay in payments.

Obtaining regular approval from the board for credit limits exceeding local limits of authority.

Obtaining regular approval from the board for credit notes exceeding local limits of authority.

Ensure timely recovery of receivables from the customers.

Review customer reconciliations and approve required adjustments in the books.

Regular monitoring of DSO and Sales vs Collection ratio and ensuring it is within approved limits.

Follow up, along with sales managers with non performing customers.

Conduct monthly collection meetings.

Initiate legal cases against non performing customers with over 270 days outstanding dues after approval from country manager.

Communicate with the lawyers for cases pending for legal settlements.

Review and report debts outstanding for more than 210 days for which legal cases have not been initiated.

Submit monthly report on the status of legal cases by the 10th of each month.

Suggesting provisions / write offs against unrecoverable debts after assessment of customer accounts individually and creating provision after approvals as per LOA.

Regular review and reporting of customer ageing analysis.

Ensure that credit and collection policies are adhered to.

Ensure collection from cash sales is deposited in the bank the same day or maximum by the next day.

Approve any delays in depositing cheques.

Regular surprise cash counts and update the log.

Daily review of cheques bounced, if any and prompts reporting of the same to the management.

Review and suggest risk management techniques through insurance e.t.c

Prepare annual leave plan for the staff of the department.

Nominate staff for promotion and pay raise.

Recommend staff for trainings.

Develop, deploy and review policies, processes and procedures.

Communicate the information to relevant users & provide the information to support all functions.

Perform added tasks as per management need.
