Acted as a chief executive/ plant head of the Technically Specified Block Rubber ( the main raw material for tyre ) manufacturing unit, organised all related areas including plant setup, expansion, direct & indirect procurement,
production, quality control, supply chain, sales, maintenance, pollution control, finance, human resource and directed day to day operations.
Key Achievements:
• Project managed the complete setup and development of a new TSBR factory including, bidding, contract management, CAPEX, and developing a software solution, exclusively for the TSBR industry.
• Directly responsible for the massive expansion and modernisation of the factory to improve output from 6 MT to 25 MT per day and with a provision of further capacity enhancement to 50 MT.
• Developed a strategic vision for operations within M. R. M & P. C. S. Ltd., involving: Ideas development; forward planning; analysis and evaluation; and problem-solving and resolution.
• Made substantial changes in the strategic views of the organisation. Directed the development and implemented key strategies/contingency plans and ensured that strategies and plans are aligned with organizational objectives.
• Generated additional revenue of $ 11.27 million annually through the expansion and modernisation.
• Increased the market share to 40 % over 5 years.
• Created $ 4.5 million annually in cost savings through re-structuring production systems/processes and changing working practices completely to reduce overheads.
