Responsible for overall operational activities in packaging, warehousing & maintenance activities.
Daily monitoring of inbound, outbound and shipping activities and performance and provide countermeasures any delay
that will effect on time delivery.
Analyze the performance of bagging line and shipping area and formulate improvement to uplift productivity.
Ensuring the use of the loading and packaging equipments to comply with loading and packaging plan inform the concerned
in case of any deviation.
Monitoring of packaging requirement as per plan.
Ensuring that enough packaging material is available.
Optimzation of warehouse capacity esuring safe storage of products.
Maintainig compliance in according with SHE procedures esnuring operating guidelines remain aligned with SHE requirements.
Updating work instruction, procedures and other documents when required.
Performing silo management with PE and PP production esuring proper usage of silos to meet safety and quality standards.
Performing back flushing/posting of all the completed batches in SAP in daily basis in co-ordination with
Logistics and production.
Check and correct any discrepancies generated by the production versus SAP posting.
Updating of all good movements in SAP.
Performing warehouse and inventroy management including counting of finished goods monthly & yearly during external audit.
Providing ideas to improve productivity & scrap generation control.
Training of new operators and guidance to achieve improvement in safety and quality in production.
Ensuring that all the PH Work Instructions and Procedures including company’s HSE&Q policy are very well explained;
understood and followed by shift.
Maintinig Tool box talk in the beginning of each shift.
Proper trial of raw materials & giving feed back to concerned.
Regularly involving in monthly safety meeting.
Leading from front in managing the situation in case of emergency.
Monitoring and keeping records for all mobile equipments used in bagging plant for smooth functioning of the oeration.
Creation of daily, monthly & yearly packaging reports.
Entering of daily shift reports in PWIMS.
Coordinate with the contractor that the products despatched meet all the quality standards of the organisation.
Coordination with logistics that all the orders are meeting the ETA.
Analyzing all the downtimes generated in the bagging line and shipping section and taking steps to minimise or avoiding
the recurrence.
Planning for Job during shutdown.
Monitoring Performance and appraisal of packing operators
• Arranging to pack required quantity in different grades.
• Review of lifting plan in accordance with production plan.
• Comparison of pending order with inventory & arranging for short fall.
• Review pending order list & take measure to dispatch in time.
• Report high Inventory immediately to supervisor/management.
• Communicate with sales & marketing to for any changes in the packing plan.
• Arrange with hauler to collect and ship all empty & full containers to and fro on time.
• Coordination with hauler in preparation of daily loading plan.
• Assist finance in month end closing.
• Reserves products for sales order.
• Submit stock status v/s dispatch report on daily & monthly basis.
• Preparation of Inventory report.
• Arrangement of monthly & yearly physical inventory counting.
• Maintaining inventory at the agreed level.
• Matching physical inventory with SAP records.
• Preparation of Monthly operation report.
• Comparing of lifting plan v/s actual.
• Arrange dispatches on First in First Out (FIFO) basis.
• Checking of lifting plan & take action to dispatch the plan quantity.
• Taking care that no stock beyond 40 days production is kept in the warehouse.
• Preparation of daily, weekly & monthly reports to maintain the management requirement.
• Verifying of hauler invoices.
• Liaise with Sabic logistics to release the empty containers by shipping line on time.
• Communication with product handling for dispatch of orders as per ETA.
Pre-commissioning & commissioning of bagging plant & product warehouse& SAP Core team Member of HPL at the time of implementation phase of Sales & Distribution Module. Working with company structure-Defining Sales Organization, Sales Area, Distribution Channel, division.
Pricing & Taxing -Setting up different types of pricing
And Taxing procedures using the pricing and Taxing
Procedures in the Implementation Guide.
Handling different SD Documents i.e. Complaint Processing, Delivery and Billing.
Creation of Sales Order including Cash Sales, Credit
Sales & Stock Transport Order. Processing Deliveries using Picking and Post Good Issue.
Preparation of Billing Documents and Excise Invoice for Polymer & liquids. (Both export & domestic)
• Inventory Management - Primary focus is on updating SAP stock as per physical stock and ensure proper housekeeping leading to good warehouse management. It is necessary to reconcile SAP so that indent is generated for products stored in warehouse.
• Planning and implementation - Plan and arrange for the next day dispatch in coordination with marketing and transportation inputs.
• Manpower Management - Arrange proper manpower in accordance with market demand so as to optimally utilize them to get quality job out of team.
• Order Execution - Ensure that orders placed by customers are correctly executed as per requirements within stipulated time, and execute them in SAP. Primarily, to ensure that orders more than 24 hours old are executed first and distribution network of company expands for better service to customers.
• SAP - Execute all SAP operations in tandem with physical operations so as to have a logical mapping between SAP and physical activities. Major exposure is in delivery order creation and warehouse management modules.
• Invoicing - Generate Excise Invoice and Lorry Receipts through SAP after completion of physical stuffing of domestic trucks/containers and execution of orders in WM module
