Responsible for maintaining high standards of housekeeping (5S), and ensuring HSE practices are adopted and maintained continuously.

• Leads a group of 25 mechanics and helpers within Turaif workshop and other sites.
• Performs trouble shooting and diagnostics procedure on vehicles and equipment.
• Record observations and findings during diagnostics run and decide on the correct method of repair, as necessary.
• Ensure that warranties are properly followed up, monitored, and documented.
• Plan and organise Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) and delegate specific tasks to concerned section/mechanic.
• Hands-on supervision of all workshop activities, especially technical issues.
• Forecast and order spare parts for specific jobs/special job or for stocks replenishment.
• Supervise and follow up on actual progress of each individual repair job.
• Provide on-the-job training as well as coaching and mentoring to mechanics and helpers.
• Follow up repair order, registering the time taken to complete each task.

Conduct pre-start & Safety meetings. Make sure all jobs have JSEA’s prior to commencement.

Conducting Safety Health and Environmental Trainings, Tool box talk, organizing safety committee meetings at site.

Incident Investigation, Corrective and preventive action.

Waste and environmental management at site.

Maintenance/Service planning and execution, Prepare weekly service schedules and order spare-parts including consumables accordingly.

Planning & scheduling of preventive maintenance and ensure daily scheduled maintenance activities are carried out and order required spares in advance.

Prepare plans for breakdown maintenance of equipment’s and machinery at different locations/site.

Ensure proper erection, commissioning and testing of new machines are carried out as per the purchase order clauses and send the feedback to H.O.

Coordination with supplier/local service agent for repairs/servicing and getting best services from them.

Giving specification of new equipment, identifying maintenance and operating needs, organize training and control asset life cycle.

Oversee all contractors so that they follow safety procedure and work according to organization standards and guidelines.

Managing and directing the department employees and utilizing the maximum productivity from the department work force.

Preparing MIS reports and coordinating globally to the Top Management in terms of information flow as well as performance reports.

To ensure effective implementation & execution of Preventive, Predictive and Regular maintenance program. Troubleshooting, Overhauling, and Repair of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery.

Preventive and corrective maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery & Transport units.

Oversee major repairs and troubleshooting procedures.

Manage & allocate manpower and other resources effectively.

Monitor performance & utilization of equipment’s and increase equipment productivity.

Generation of daily, weekly and monthly Reports (Maintenance, Spare Parts & Lub. Consumption and MIS Reports).

Train drivers/operators on the correct and proper handling of equipment to ensure their safety, safeguard the equipment and improve their skills.
