Job Description
• Control and signing all counter operations executed at the branch and coordinate with other branches in order to obtain necessary information or approvals
• In charge of the safe and of distributing daily cash to tellers.
• Detect and report suspicious money laundering operations
• Provide quality assurance to Cheques using ECC system.
• Check and upload daily transaction on archiving system and matching transactions
• Ensure that all counter operations are in compliance with existing regulations and internal procedures.
• Handle the clearing cheques' process at the branch by controlling information on the cheques, endorsing them, check ECC quality assurance, upload them to the Central Bank of Jordan, and monitor Cheques reply.
• Control FX rates operations in coordination with the Treasury department.
• Approve the reversals and the cancellation of wrong operations after investigation
• Control external transfers (Incoming & outgoing transfers)
• Control International Cheques inventory (incoming & outgoing)
• In charge of the ATM replenishment process
• Control the stocks of printed papers such as banker cheques and handle the records of these stocks.
• Administer the branch cash inventory and limit it to the needs of the branch.
• Accept post dated cheques, file them and ensure proper follow-up.
• Develop the relationships with customers and promote the bank's products & services when possible.
• Answer customer's inquiry calls and assist tellers in resolving problems with clients.
• Control all branch GLs such as Salaries account, outward Cheques GL and inward transfers GL.
• Perform end of day controls such as the journal of daily operations, the journal of daily exceptions, daily movements, etc., and ensure proper compliance with existing transactions

Dealing with wire transfers like western union and money gram.
