Main Responsibilities:
1. In charge of all the electrical, fire alarm and data works. After drawing approval, it will be handed over to me to be reviewed then prepare the necessary things to start the site. (i.e. manpower needed, material preparations, work duration per steps)
2. Supervising and monitoring the sites on a daily basis to make sure everything goes according to plan and to avoid unnecessary delays.
3. Quantifying all the materials needed for a particular shop and checking if it matches with the BOQ. If ever there is discrepancy, I will notify our MEP director.
4. Preparing weekly progress report for all the sites under my supervision and to be presented to our MEP director.
5. Attending a weekly meeting with the MEP director and discussing the progress of the electrical works on the sites.
6. Making sure that all the electrical works are done as per the design and the works should be above standard quality.
7. Electrical, fire alarm, ELV system designing.
8. Preparing quotations for electrical works.
9. Testing and commissioning of electrical and fire alarm system.
10. Checking, coordinating and executing electrical, fire alarm and ELV maintenance works on previously finished shops.
1. Conducting daily inspection in the site, as per the daily progress report given by the site supervisor, to make sure that the works are done neatly and according to the design specification.
2. Attending progress, coordination and safety meetings with clients and contractors.
3. Foresighting all construction activities to avoid problem occurrence.
4. Preparation of material submittal for supply materials to be submitted to the client.
5. Preparing weekly and monthly progress report.
6. Discussing with clients concerning missing components in the drawings, variation orders and modifications in the drawing.
7. Estimating the quantity of materials needed for the week’s work accomplishments and making sure that there is sufficient quantity of all materials on stock.
8. Quantifying the materials used on site and submitting the computed amount to the Quantity Surveyor.
1. Responsible for making plans and schedule to effect timely completion of electrical works;
2. Implementing the electrical design drawings (i.e. lighting connection, sockets and including fire alarm system, air conditioning units);
3. Giving solutions to problems that are occurring in my working area;
4. Submit weekly report to division head covering the accomplishments in the site;
5. Conducts daily inspection in my working area to ensure that works are done according to design specification;
6. Weekly monitoring electrical materials that are still available in the site.
7. In case there are changes from the design drawing as per site condition, prepares shop drawing for approval to the MEP consultants.
8. Every completion of works, prepares inspection report for approval to the MEP consultants.
1. Hourly monitoring and logging the energy parameters of the system;
2. Assist electrical supervisor to conduct inspection from the control panel of the power plant kilowatt-hour meter or mega-watt hour meter sent out to the customers.
3. Checks and maintains substation transformers from 69/13.8kV.
4. Maintains the transmission lines by clearing from any obstruction such as trees, etc.
5. Checks and replaces cut-out fuses by using hot stick with capacity of 15kv.
6. Assisting to maintain and repair high tension lines, ensures to fix grounding cluster for safety precaution.
7. Checks and maintains the normal power supply to the customer. Make sure that the voltage supply to the customer is enough for their demand.
8. Checks and calibrates kw-hr meters just to determine the accuracy of the reading registers.
9. Reading the kw-hr meters from the clients that will be reported to the office for billing purposes.
