Responsibilities as a Senior Structural Design Engineer :
Conceptual Planning of Structural Schemes. Analysis and Design of High Rise Reinforced Concrete, Steel, Precast Concrete, Pre-stressed Concrete Structures and Pre-Engineered Building System
To work with Project Manager and other disciplines to meet the delivery targets and overall project goals with pro-active and flexible approach towards meeting them.
As a Team Leader, managing and guiding Structural Engineers and Draughtsmen to produce accurate and economical Structural Design within the delivery targets. To Review the Design and Drawings for compliance with the codes and Project requirements.
To attend Technical Coordination meetings with Project Team and Client. Participated in pre-tender meetings, Tender clarification meetings and Site Meetings.
Coordinate with Wind Tunnel Testing Laboratory. Study of Wind Micro climate, Wind Structural Response and Cladding Pressures.
Preparation of Technical Proposals and Financial Proposals
Design of Structural Glass, Aluminum, Timber and Fabric Structures..
Review contractors design submittals. Review and approval of Shop Drawings.
Providing Technical support to site based Supervision Staff
Peer review of Structural Design and Drawings. Participate in Value Engineering Workshops
Review of Project Specifications and coordinate with QS department to implement required changes to suit specific project requirements.
Prepared BOQ and Specifications for Soil Investigation. Interpretation of Geotechnical Report to evaluate efficient and economical Foundation system. Involved in the Design of Piled Raft Foundation
Responsibilities as a Head of Structural Department:
