Abu Dhabi Ports - Maqta Gateway is a large system integration platform to unify customer trade experience across Abu Dhabi.
As a technical lead, I learn different entities and their complexities and try to provide a solution for our integration.
By unifying this experience, customer is less engaged with each individual entity and able to interact, perform operations and pay more efficiently.
Analyse each business requirement to identify grey areas and impacts on existing system for achieving an IT solution.

Estimate each User Story on a high level to prioritize backlog.
Discuss each user story with team and break down into tasks with low level estimation to create Sprints.
Develop and Unit Test each user story according to Sprints to have something tested by QA.
Review and confirm each sprint with stakeholders to conform with the understanding to avoid any major deviations.
Complete User Stories and perform UAT to make it ready for Production.
Work with Training Team to educate users about the new changes.
Deploy to production and support initial period for quick fixing.
Handover to L1 and L2 for future support and provide better customer service.

IT forms the backbone for all Gate and Terminal operations in Khalifa Port.
Responsibilities IT Applications team develops any required application for Abu Dhabi terminals public facing websites (https://webapps.adterminals.ae), internal website, tools and reports. The new Maqta Gateway e-services for Abu Dhabi Ports are designed by ADT IT Applications Team.
The developed websites or modules are verified by main stakeholders namely Operations, Finance, Logistics and Customer Service before going LIVE.
Complete architecture, design, development, testing and deployment is done by the IT Applications team.
