Full P&L responsibility and globally leading the business development and deployment of the Model Factory in a BOX, a McKinsey proprietary solution, used as an experiential learning environment for capability building in digital and lean concepts. Achievements include:

• Expanded the offering from 12 to 17 assets worldwide in 2018
Led multi-million lean implementation projects in the GCC, North Africa, and the Middle East focusing on generating bottom-line impact through lean manufacturing and maintenance transformations and Operational Excellence initiatives in Oil and Gas, basic materials, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
Led implementation work streams in the GCC, and Middle East focusing on lean manufacturing transformations and Operational Excellence initiatives in basic materials, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, key projects included:
• Lean transformation for a leading pharma client to implement lean practices in supply chain, quality and operations to increase labour productivity by 20% and instil a continuous improvement culture
• Manufacturing transformation program for a petrochemical client focusing on maintenance best practices; lean practices, planning and scheduling, and increasing equipment uptime
• Cost-cutting program for a basic materials client to increase productivity by 15%
Responsible for implementing process improvements and cost optimization best practices for a 1.6Mt cement plant, member of plant executive committee, key responsibilities included:
• Leading a lean transformation program to reduce plant operational costs
• Responsible for a €3.2M production budget
• Implementation of an operational cost improvement initiative (~€1M of savings in 3 months)
Responsible for technical assistance, training and best practice transfer for cement plants in the Middle East and Central/Eastern European regions, main achievements included:
• Led a feasibility study of a 3m€ project for a Jordanian cement plant
• Launched a new process improvement program to reduce power consumption in cement mills for the Russian plants
• Conducted technical training sessions to develop plant engineers operational skills, with an international audience of more than 20 engineers
• Commissioned two 5 m€ closed circuit cement mills in Russia
• Participated in the start-up team for a 10 m€ plant capacity increase project in Jordan
Led projects for plant process improvement and optimization
Thesis: Control Software for an Industrial Stencil Printer, ECTS: A (Excellent) Enabled the company to switch from manual mode of paste application on printed circuit boards to an automatic one, which reduced production time into half
