*Deal Origination: Work on deal sourcing, screening, analysis, valuation, financial modeling, risk analysis, due diligence studies, deal closure process (negotiating the price, terms and conditions, employees/management contracts and final documentation).
* Fund/Company Creation: Develop investment structure and domicile. Engage fund custodian, administrator, and auditor. Develop marketing materials and legal documentation. High level coordination for fund/company operations including monitoring fund performance.
*Fund Raising: Support fund raising activities with the placement team. Coordinate fund raising activities with placement agents and external brokers. Communicate with banks for securing debt facilities.
*Portfolio Management: Post-acquisition deal monitoring and management. Represent the Company on Board of Directors of portfolio companies. Manage all aspects of post-acquisition activities. Participate in risk and audit reviews, production of financial statements, annual budgeting, forecasting of revenues, and setting KPIs. Assist in recruitment of management team of target companies. Produce periodical reports to the management and investors. Identify different exit strategies and manage divestment process.
*Member of the Company Management Committee: The main objectives of the Committee are to develop the Company business strategy, set annual targets and measures, conduct periodic risk review, set the annual budget and propose strategic plans to the Board of Directors.
*Member of the Company Investment Committee: The main objectives of the Committee are to set the investments guidelines and objectives, discuss and approve new investments, evaluate the performance of existing assets, evaluate the risk and return of new and existing investments in addition to approve decisions related to exit from current investments.
Job Scope & Responsibilities:
*Deal Origination: Identify business opportunities through strong network.
*Deal Analysis: Conduct initial investment appraisal covering financial, technical, legal and commercial analysis to determine the appropriate risk-return profile and identify the best deal to pursue.
*Due Diligence: Lead entire diligence process, this includes management of financial and legal advisors, market/industry commercial analysis and appraisal of management team.
*Deal Closure: Prepare investment proposal and present to it investment committee for approval. Negotiate price, terms and conditions of the deal. Prepare PPM and other marketing documents. Work with legal counsel to prepare all final legal documentation.
*Post-Acquisition: Develop strategies to maximize returns (focus on adding value and determine exit strategy). Evaluate company performance and work with management on ongoing strategic initiatives as well as sit on boards of portfolio companies to drive business.
Job Scope & Responsibilities:
• Develop new products based on clients’ appetite and market conditions.
• Work on asset allocation and portfolio modelling.
• Supervise the continuous process of monitoring and re-balancing the investment portfolios as dictated by market conditions.
• Work on portfolio valuation, consolidation, control, and reporting.
• Provide support in activities related to clients servicing such as preparation of investment proposals, support to marketing campaign and regular research updates.
• Write monthly investment reports on portfolio performance, asset allocation, investment outlook and recommendations which are communicated with clients.
• Write analytical investment proposals on fundamentally undervalued investments to be included in the portfolio upon approval by the investment committee.
Job Scope & Responsibilities:
• Prepare feasibility studies and cost estimate for new projects.
• Responsible for planning the required workforce and preparing work schedules for new projects.
• Work on the detailed design and execution of projects.
• Chair design and progress meetings.
• Prepare quotation requests and perform bids analysis received from equipment vendors.
• Coordinate activities among different departments involved in the project.
• Member of the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Team for the Lube Base Oil Project who was sent to Finland in 2006 to prepare the FEED Study.
