•Analyzing user needs and producing viable software applications
•Writing code according to accepted standards based on user requirements, which are included in the delivery of the application solution
•Leading the development, testing, and implementation of small to mid-size initiatives to meet the requirements of the application.
•Participating, and at times leading, planning, estimating, developing, and testing activities in order to support bug fixes, identify anomalies and misunderstandings, and providing clarity surrounding the interpretation of the requirements
•Supporting implementation activities in order to promote the application into the production environment in preparation for the user community
•Participating in project and team meetings; interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments, when appropriate, to provide a developer’s perspective in the meetings
•Acquiring end-to-end knowledge of assigned applications from existing documentation, application code, subject matter experts, and/or other application artifacts in order to identify and recommend technical improvement opportunities to senior management
•Work on different database platforms including MSSQL and MySQL
•Developing and administrate our ERP software solution by studying information needs, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, following the software development lifecycle.
•Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
•Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment.
•Participate with the engineering and operations teams to define plans for standardizing, scaling and enhancing our ERP system and the services utilized to deploy/install/release.
•Working closely with upper management.
•Responsible for analysis of the ERP system including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
