Human Resources Management
Participate in the development and implementation of the overall talent
acquisition strategy of the organization.
Source local and overseas applications for various positions, review
resumes/applications, screen and shortlist candidates, interview and
recommend suitable candidates for hiring.
Contribute to studies and analysis of employee compensation and benefits in
the industry, compare trends in the competition and recommend strategies to
optimize the company’s compensation and benefits plans.
Assist in employee performance appraisal, training needs evaluation and
implementation of employee training programs.
Conduct exit interviews of employees leaving the company, map overall
employee experience and identify opportunities to enhance employee
engagement and improve talent retention.
Support HR unit heads in on time completion of various HR related tasks to
meet organizational requirements.
Provide advice and counseling to employees in understanding and complying
with the company’s policies and procedures as well as applicable rules and
regulations.
Tasks included entry in Sage accounting system of all purchase, payment
and sales invoices and receipts, reconciliation of bank accounts,
maintenance of nominal code records and budget monitoring and reporting

Cost Control
Maintain cost records and produce daily summary cost reports for
management information.
Monitor and evaluate actual variable and fixed operating costs, identify
variances from approved budgets and produce daily reports.
Prepare forecasts of payments due to vendors/subcontractors and provide
inputs for monthly invoicing to client.
Liaise with the warehouse and storekeeping staff on issues related to
material costs and inventory control.
Support project management with cost control reports and presentations
illustrating cost status, actual cost to date and forecast requirements through
graphs, diagrams and other exhibits.
Assist the control manager by performing assigned tasks related to overall
project/operational cost management.
Researched the civil aviation sector in Lebanon and created business plans
for providing tailored private jet charter, leasing solutions to clients.
Built and managed a database of prospective local and international clients
and followed up to achieve sales of private flights including VIP charters.
Marketed the fleet through personal communication as well as through
mailing of campaign e-mails to existing and potential clients.
Assisted a team of experts in long-term and short-term assignments in
conducting market studies, SWOT analysis and feasibility studies.
Participated in promotional activities including liaison with the Director of
Industries and in project related communications.
Contributed to organization of events like HORECA 2007 for agro-food
companies and workshops for IT, packaging and agro-food sectors.
