• Responsible in supervision for the electrical installation, control wiring connection, power cable termination, Pump system
Termination, Fire alarm and Gas alarm systems, Electrical fixtures in accordance with planned schedule, project specifications and based in DEWA and DCD regulations.
• Attend inspections of completed works by sub-contractor to ensure compliance with the approved shop drawings and contract documents
• Witness and evaluate the performance of commissioning and testing of equipment’s based on the agreed and submitted testing and commissioning procedures for LV panels, ATS, Generator, Busbar, Capacitor banks, MDBs, DBs, and all electrical equipments etc.
• Attend daily site inspections submitted by the contractor and checks the quality of work in accordance to project specifications.
• Fully coordinate all electrical work to other departments such as mechanical and civil to avoid conflict and follows the assigned schedule and planned activities.
• Fully monitors the progress of work as per site conditions and regularly tallies all materials submitted to maintain the required amount of materials and to prevent short and excess in stocks.
• Regularly send weekly and monthly progress report to engineer as per site conditions and as per approved inspections.
• Participates in all safety meetings and engineering coordination meeting with other departments to be familiar with any changes given to the site.
• Issues NCR to any nonconformance found on site which directly contradicts to project specifications, material approvals and DEWA regulations.
• Reviews all shop drawings and inspect all categories with project specifications
• Review all MEP drawing coordinations
• Inspect all electrical installations as per DEWA regulations, Project specifications and Materials as per manufacturers recommendations
• Inspect all electrical site conditions referring to approved drawings

• Attends Factory Acceptance Test for Generators, LV Switchgears, ATS, Pumps, etc.
• Attends Site Acceptance Test for Electrical Systems. Generators, LV switchgears, ATS, Pumps, etc.
• Attends Testing and commissioning of Electrical systems, Fire Alarm, Central battery system, Voice Evacuation system, Emergency Lighting System, CCTV system, Lighting Control System, Access Control System, Generator and ATS switching, LV switchgear Commissioning, etc.
• Attends Specialist/Manufacturers site survey for Bus bar installation and coordinate with Switchgear specialist for phasing location.
• Coordinate with Government specialist for design, activation and commissioning of CCTV (SIRA), Access Control System (DCD), GSM system and Telephone system (TAWUUN) requirements.
• Conducts inspection of delivered materials as per Engineers approval.
