Responsibilities:
Supervises, plans and coordinates the administration of Windows System Environments to ensure service delivery deadlines are met and to ensure effective and smooth operation of this environment
Participates in large-scale development initiatives including product selection and implementation, Research and recommends optimal design criteria and best utilization of resources
Leads the activities such as new system build, technology upgrade, Service Improvement activities within the Wintel and Virtualization environment Infrastructure in line with organizational expectations
Manages and ensures the documentation for policies, standards, operating procedures, and technical documentation is up to date and consistent
Leads the regular audits/assessment activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper usage of Wintel and Virtualization servers
Builds and maintains security and integrity controls in coordination with the security team
Reviews incident management, request management, change management, and problem management for purposes of resolution and ‘Root Cause Analysis’ of complex Wintel problems
Prepares and/or reviews activity, progress, and performance reports
Leads, reviews, and participates in the flow of day-to-day operation activities for Wintel team
Interacts and collaborates with the technical team and cross-functional groups as a focal point of contact for wintel and Virtualization team
Works with vendors on new trends and measure to cut cost, time and improve productivity
Develops and maintains a backup and recovery strategy for all Wintel and Virtualization Servers
Manages the licenses & support subscriptions for the Wintel and Virtualization Servers
Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor
