Major Responsibilities:
•Running IT Department on a day to day basis, supervising four full time employees and reporting to IT Manager
•Responsible of maintenance and installation of Micros3700 System (Restaurant Management System) in each outlet.
•Responsible for maintaining Fidelio Material Control System, the Inventory Management system for Hospitality
•Responsible for maintaining Interface between Micros/FMC
•Responsible for establishing and maintaining VPN connectivity in all Foodmark stores with Group Central Datacenter.
•Responsible for keeping store network secure and virus free.
•Responsible for maintaining Routine Backup of Foodmark production Applications.
•Communicate with department managers, identifying their business requirements and proposing an IT solution respecting budget and time constraints.
•Assist IT Manager in defining yearly IT Budget.
•Managing and supervising new IT Projects under the supervision of IT Manager.
•Responsible to make sure that Foodmark IT Setup is in accordance with policies and procedures of Landmark Group IT policy
•Responsible for providing periodic training to users on IT Applications and procedures
•Liaison with software and hardware vendors
Achievement:
•So far I have successfully opened 25 Restaurants at different locations in GCC like Doha, UAE, Kuwait,
•Have successfully rolled out the project of ‘Centralization of Micro System’ commonly known as EM Server, Implementation of My Micros(Online Reporting Tool)
•Implementation of Open Source File Sharing Server called as Samba Server,
•Implementation of DM-VPN throughout Foodmark restaurants
•Implementation of VLANs(Virtual LAN) concept in Foodmark Stores
•Implementation of Corporate IT recommended Biomteric Setup to Control employee attendance
•Have lead the Project of FMC Restructuring, In order to get consolidated COGS and Purchase related reports
•To make IT department more efficient and accountable me and my team are working on the implementation of IT Support Call logging system.

•Managing Active Directory Domain Controller, Domain Users.
•Managing and maintaining Web Hosting Server on Linux Fedora Core 4(includes Apache Web Server, MySql database Server, Perl, CGI, PHP).
•Managing and maintaining PHP Development Server on linux Fedora Core 4(includes Apache Web Server, MySql database Server, Samba Server).
•Responsible for maintaining Companies FTP Server.
•Responsible for maintaining Email Setup for the company.
•Responsible for Disaster Recovery plans and routine Back-Up.
•Management of overall IT Infrastructure and IT Department.
•Liaison with software and hardware vendors.
Achievement:
•Gave structure to the IT Department so that IT Department could be more productive for the company growth and Development.
•Implementation of Active Directory Domain Controller, and implementation of different Policies across company that could reflect company policies and safe guard its interest.
•Before there was no Central Server where Developers could host there projects for the Demo runs, I introduce a central Server on Linux(Fedora) for the PHP development Purpose.
•I Introduce Open Source Samba Server in the Company for the File Sharing Purpose.
•I also introduce Webhosting Server on Fedora running Apache to host Company’s Official Website and also some client websites
•Before Company was not having any FTP to upload and download Large files, I introduce Vsftp again on Linux which is again Open Source
•DotNet developers were also not having any mean of central development place, I also introduce a Central Development Server for DotNet development developers

• Study the detail Network infrastructure of Hamdard University.
• identify the need of Confidentiality, Integrity, Non repudiation and authorization (Network Security Key terms), and to develop a prototype model of Public key Infrastructure (PKI) in a Stand alone mode for the University. The tenure of my internship was of three months and I successfully completed the task with in the time.
