The Manila Health Department or more known as MDH is the division of the Department of Health (Philippines) in the City of Manila. It also refers to the chain of local community health centers, lying-ins and hospitals owned and operated by the city government.

- Assist in the doctor consultation, examination, treatment and work
- Assist in the individual or group conferences, give lectures for the health education of the public and to integrate and chart order and instructions by the doctor.
- Teaches and train an auxiliary worker as family members to give care to the sick in the house in the absence of a nurse.
- Refer the case of the family to the other agency for further management, treatment and assistance.
- Participate in disease prevention thru immunization, supervision and collection of specimen of client.
- Assist in rehabilitation of patient and family.
- Participate in control of environmental hazard.
- Performs related work as required.
