Leading projects that help clients integrate sustainability into strategy, achieve performance gains, and undertake public sustainability reporting. Clients range across many industries in Jordan and the GCC region, with an emphasis on financial services, energy, and telecommunications.
Managing projects to be delivered effectively, to a high quality, on time and on budget. This includes development and tracking of work plans, schedules and budgets for the delivery of projects, continuous client communication, internal team management and external contractor management.
Leading the design and implementation of projects with clients on a range of economic, environmental and social sustainability projects. This includes:
- Crafting strategies that identify, prioritize and address clients’ significant environmental, social and economic impacts, risks and opportunities.
- Supporting clients with the implementation of sustainability strategies and programs.
- Developing and delivering engaging presentations for meetings, training and workshops to build client capacity for sustainability implementation.
- Writing clear and compelling corporate sustainability reports presenting clients’ environmental, social and economic performance in line with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, sector specific disclosure frameworks and relevant stock exchange reporting guidelines.
Anti-Terrorism Assistance (ATA) Program

Reporting directly to the Resident Camp Manager.
• Led and supported the development of Internal Regulations incorporating code of business conduct.
• Managed day-to-day HR functions.
• Supervised the incoming and outbound ATA personnel travel, in-country lodging requirements, and in-country surface and air transportation requirements.
• Assisted operations, finance and procurement departments in different areas.
Providing support to head of mission at field and mission levels by:
• Provided timely and thorough analysis of humanitarian and security context.
• Contributed in implementing the acceptance security strategy.
• Facilitated communication with stakeholders’ network (local authorities, local leaders, other agencies and NGOs).
• Ensured regular situational reporting in collaboration with head of departments.
Anti-Terrorism Assistance (ATA) Program

Reporting directly to the ATA Resident Program Manager and assigned responsibility for special projects that are integral to the program.
• Carried out a SOPs assessment for the ATA program in Amman.
• Provided liaison in-line with program goals and requirements of the ATA Resident Program Manager (RPM);
• Assisted with ATA in-country logistical service coordination requirements.
• Evaluated Simultaneous and Consecutive interpreter performance and duties.
• Managed correspondences for each training program between the American Embassy in Amman and ATA Washington.
• Provided advice to the ATA RPM and ATA DRPM regarding host country culture and governmental customs, provided support and analysis, including developing informational materials.
• Contributed to the development, design and delivery of extensive training programs that covered workplace mediation skills and HR functions in addition to the Jordanian labor law, Social Security, and income tax awareness sessions.
(Project Management) (Compliance & Monitoring and Evaluation) (Research and Development) (In-house Trainer / Facilitator)
Reporting directly to the General Manager, I was responsible for developing AMC’s customer and market intelligence through leading targeted research projects, delivering training & capacity building and facilitating strategy development.
• Oversaw the design and led the execution of AMC’s first-ever client impact assessment, engaging with over 600 customers to provide insight to senior management on how AMC improves people’s livelihoods.
• Reviewed and further developed key company policies in the light of the Client Protection Principles of the microfinance industry’s Smart Campaign and the Universal Standards of the Social Performance Task Force.
• Facilitated AMC’s institutional & social rating, creation of a Risk Function, creation of a new SME Unit and development of the new 5-year Strategic Plan.
• Took the lead on writing 4 winning USAID funding proposals used for expanding AMC’s product offering and channels to market.
• Acted as a representative of AMC in interactions with a wide range of external stakeholders.
In collaboration with the senior management team I was responsible for FINCA’s HR information system, day-to-day personnel admin and key HR functions, including recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, conflict resolution, compensation/rewards and ensuring compliance with governing regulations.
• Led the development, design and delivery of extensive training programs that covered technical and soft skills trainings.
• Managed recruitment cycle, designed and implemented new platform to streamline recruitment activities across the organization.
