• Assisted in the implementation of a UN and US-funded initiative that addresses gender stereotypes and promotes gender equality, in which I identified the most appropriate practices and developed recommendations for implementing gender sensitive programming (Empowered Aid by GWI). This involved analyzing data from interviews conducted with participants and reviewing existing literature on gender equality initiatives. The findings highlighted the importance of engaging local communities and providing targeted support to marginalized groups, such as women and girls in rural areas.
• Collaborated directly with US donors to develop a course on gender knowledge using ARTICULATE RISE 360, aiming to
improve the understanding of gender concepts among university students through interactive tools (Gender Course Design by AIW). The course incorporated case studies and real-life examples to foster a deeper understanding of gender issues. It also included practical exercises and group discussions to encourage active participation and knowledge sharing among students and to facilitate engagement and insight sharing among learners. I also prepared quarterly and final reports summarizing achievements, challenges, and lessons learnt in line with donor requirements.
• Revised course content in English and Arabic based on donor criteria to clarify its objectives and provide a thorough background on the current state of gender-related principles (Gender Course Design by AIW).
• Developed weekly and monthly detailed reports in English and Arabic on events, seminars, and workshops focused on
gender-based violence and the role of women in politics and society in the MENA region, as well as policy implementation analysis. These reports were submitted to the AIW director to enhance future programming and advocacy efforts.
• Edited and proofread website content for the AIW website, which aimed to attract and engage the target audience for the
organization. The content included informative articles and engaging blog posts using different tones and styles.
