My responsibility were maintaining and developing few modules.
That included new features and new reports as per user requirements which dictated client visits and user interaction.
The development was done using oracle database 9i and forms 6i.
Forced to return back to my country due to visa problem at Nets international, i had to finish and complete 10 month of military service. I worked in the IT department creating small programs with modest outputs.
I was responsible for a the product called Placid Carat (now known as Swallow-Placid SA, after a merger with SwallowTech)
The system is Nostro Reconciliation system, Real-Time Cash Reporting’ over SWIFTNet™, and Securities instructions STP generation and statement of holdings reconciliation.
My responsibilities varied from implementation, support and training.
