My responsibility as a lecturer is to educate Urban Planners and Architects who work
in public and private sectors, in order to improve their efficiencies to be capable of
shouldering their responsibilities to promote urban development in Saudi Arabia. In
addition, offer consultations on many urban issues referred to the employer by
government ministries, agencies, and city council.
* I was also a member of the project management team that responsible for design the
housing complex for faculty members, which consists of 250 residential units,
designing IPA Jeddah and Women Branches. Furthermore, from early success in the
introduction of traditional procurement specifications, I moved to a challenging level
of cost management, budgeting and administering work on all IPA's projects within
a restricted timescale. Also, I maintained projects deliverables on time such as
project charter, status reports, estimates, communication plan, and bill of quantities
"BOQ."

Evaluating factors contributing to Land Spills and Defining Future Hazard scenarios
in South Florida area Using GIS & Landsat satellite imagery.
* Objective: Data conversion to digital format of several hardcopy base maps and
remotely sensed imagery. Develop a GIS data model of the South Florida identifying
landslips at coastal locations by integrating spatial and non-spatial data for analysis
in ArcGIS Desktop for GIS data encryption and coordinate reading. Create volumes
of 3D surface data from the available 2D contour data and post processing. To
georeference aerial photo and satellite imagery.
* Role: Collected and assessed input resources/requirements from various onsite.
Designed the spatial database. Led the team for the creation of 3D (surface) GIS data,
to develop applications/customizations, integration with GPS. Responsible for the
quality of GIS data and applications developed data collection with ArcPad and
interoperability with the ArcGIS system. Worked on 3D analysis such as Line of Sight,
& Viewshed to find site suitability for strategic study. Responsible for
documentations and technical support.

I worked for CUES as a Research Assistant and GIS Specialist in almost all urban
planning projects. During this period, I had worked with limited supervision and
have shown confident in executing my daily job description. I was responsible for
updating the geospatial distribution of owning and managed properties within South
Florida. Properties feasibility analysis, buffering analysis, service distribution based
on socioeconomic status and presenting marketing strategies geographical and
spatial data quality. Producing results on route analysis, network analysis on socio-
economic status and properties feasibility studies.

Indexa has been commissioned by Ar-Riyadh Development
Authority (ADA) to conduct the DEVELOPMENT OF 10 ENTRANCES TO THE CITY
OF RIYADH. The architectural plans of 10 entrances to the city of Riyadh, which have
been developed based on a careful study of the selected locations and assessment of
the current and future size of traffic there. The architectural plans of the entrances
meet all the architectural, economic and service needs. Moreover, areas have been
allocated for the commercial activities, traffic checkpoints and pedestrian bridges
linking the two sides of the road.
