Participate in the design and implementation of the Programs Quality Management department’s strategy and roadmap to support alignment with the Programs Quality and Performance Management directorate’s strategy.
Establish the Programs Quality Management department’s plans and provide input to the Programs Quality and Performance Management directorate’s goals that support the Engineering and Operations division’s overall strategic plans.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify Programs Quality Management department’s required projects to meet future business demands.
Lead and drive the achievement of the Programs Quality Management department’s strategy, objectives and KPIs within the accountabilities of the department.
Participate in the Programs Quality Management department’s budgeting cycle and provide input to the budgeting process.
Ensure effective utilization of the Programs Quality Management department’s budget and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.
Investigate and propose implementing initiatives that result in positive financial impact for the Programs Quality Management department and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Conduct UAT and SAT tests ensuring all requirements have been met and systems can be used and deployed.
Provide release certifications post UAT and SAT tests and delivery acceptance certificate for Traffic Law Enforcement function's deployment of systems across regions.
Develop audit checklists and tools to ensure standards and consistent reporting of results.
Implement audit plan and develop audit report including findings and supporting evidence in coordination with Internal Audit function
Conduct random sampling analyses on business outputs (systems, violations, etc.) ensuring performance quality and providing acceptance and recommendation reports as needed.
Audit special ad-hoc cases and planned audits for violations cases
Investigate and highlight gaps resulted from random sampling to concerned stakeholders.
Recommend improvements to the Programs Quality Management department’s policies and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results.
Motivate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.
Identify, assess and recruit key talent for the Programs Quality Management department
Manage and assist subordinates to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures.
Guide, mentor and develop the Programs Quality Management department’s team as part of their continuous development.
Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise the team, and provide regular feedback on performance.
Promote a high-performance working environment within the Programs Quality Management department.
Develop improvement and communication protocol within all departments and processes across sectors.
Support project management to cross functional activity required for project execution.
Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on operations activities.
Report quality, performance, processes and procedures and project control on monthly basis with action taken.
Drive any necessary culture change and improvement in business performance to deliver strategic goals.
Assist in continuous improvement activities throughout the business ensuring that problems are prevented and that customer requirements are met with any problems resolved effectively.
Work to prevent non-conformances, customer complaints, concession and rework alongside Manufacturing/ Engineering and Operations to develop corrective and preventative actions within required time-frame.
Ensure effective internal and external audits happen as well as assessment and audit of subcontractors to minimize non-value added.
Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets and which enables the company to function in a sustained manner.
Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.
Prepare the annual Quality budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects.
Work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the quality strategy.
Communicate with stakeholders the impact of technology change and potential effects on supply. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost.
Inclusive to the Program Quality Management and Processes & Standards sections responsibilities.
Ensure that QHSE processes for the management system are established, implemented and maintained.
Report to top management on the performance of the QHSE management system and any need for improvement.
Ensure the promotion of customer focus as well as HSE awareness throughout the organization.
Coordinate, monitor QHSE activities and inspect different locations for safety practices and champion the implementation of safety improvement.
Provides leadership and direction in all areas of a risk assessment, environmental aspects impacts, loss prevention, regulatory compliance, and safety program.
Manage Risk identification process and ensure any new risks associated with new activities or changes are properly assessed and controlled.
Control of records - to ensure that records generated by the QHSE Management System are stored, maintained and accessible to all relevant personnel.
QHSE communication - to promote employee buy-in, participation & contribution to improving the system.
Organize management review meetings to assist management in improvement the effectiveness of the QHSE, also ensure follow-up against actions taken during last management review.
Manage the legal compliance process and ensure that all HSE applicable regulations are properly addressed.
Liaise with external parties on matters relating to the QHSE management system.
