Full time IT for a radiator manufacturing company base in Ajman, U.A.E. Job is to provide all kinds of IT related support and solutions to ensure all employees can do their office work with ease and without interruption.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain Active Directory Infrastructure.
• Manage, maintain, and improve company e-commerce website.
• Manage and maintain all Servers, IT equipment, and tools which includes:
1. Office computers. (Laptops, Desktops)
2. Scanners and Printers
3. Wifi Access
• Execute monthly patch management research, reports, and implementation on system infrastructure.
Common Tasks Performed:
IT Support:
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
System Check:
Checking and ensuring that all servers are up and running. Performing server health checks to ensuring all infrastructure services and application are running.
Maintaining and Improving E-commerce Website:
Everyday check to ensure that all sites are up and accessible.
Uploading products and ensuring all are updated and correctly uploaded.
Perform additional site appearance and addons as per recommendations from Marketing Team.
Improving site websites’ Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Responsible in providing remote technical support, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining windows infrastructure for a large size financial institution (Commonwealth Bank of Australia) based in Australia. Lead the Transition and Transformation Team for Wintel which gives me the opportunity to go offshore, Australia and New Zealand, for training and at the same time, ensure the support will be transitioned well and complete. Part of the Projects Team who build and maintain a Private Cloud solution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain Private Cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Hyper-V infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Windows 2003 to 2012 operating systems.

1. Provides deep technical problem isolation and resolution.
2. Correlates incident trends into problem management and execute permanent fix.
3. Document troubleshooting steps and provide runbooks to resolved issues to be used by other engineers and teams.
• Execute monthly patch management research, reports, and implementation on system infrastructure.
• Conduct regular technical meetings with clients to address any trends or outstanding system issues.
• Strict adherence to the use of the ticketing system for all incidents, changes, and problems.
Common Tasks Performed:
Managing Private Cloud Infrastructure: Ensured virtual machines are readily available and working upon request by client.
System Monitoring: Monitors every server alert via monitoring tool. Assess and troubleshoot any alert that disrupts or stops the server from performing its function.
Performance Tuning: Ensured that assigned systems were engineered, configured, and optimized for maximum functionality and availability. Implemented solutions that reduced single points of failure and improved system uptime to 99.9% availability (up from previous high of 97.5%).
Firmware/Driver Upgrade: Perform monthly firmware upgrade on all blade servers, either dell or HP brand. Ensuring that all physical systems have their firmware upgraded to their latest working versions.
Installing Patches: Ensured that all systems are free from vulnerabilities with their latest patches installed.
Hardware Replacements: Organized hardware replacements on any physical servers found to have hardware failures.
• Assigned to work as Wintel System Administrator.
• Provides 1st Level System Administration to the customer and works on a global operations team responsible for the administration.
Monitors, categorizes, and prioritizes all incidents using HP OpenView Service Center (OVSC), a monitoring tool.
Troubleshoot any reported incidents occurred from servers.
• Supports Windows platform (servers) and VMware servers.
• Accepts calls or requests from authorized users (helpdesk) and provides reactive support for clients.
• Perform routine monitoring of systems, services, and backups.
