Responsible for safe and reliable operation of all refinery equipments by planning and implementing inspection regimes based on codes and industry best practices.
Advising management on technical issues relating to equipment and material problems.
* Detailed inspection of refinery equipments (Tanks, Pressure Vessels, HX, Boilers, Heaters, Pumps, Compressors, AFCs, Columns) & pipe lines.
* DT/NDT Checks, corrosion monitoring, rectification and modification works in accordance with API 510/570/653, ASME B31.3, BPVC Sec II, V, VIII & IX.
* Annual Turn arrounds & Shut down monitoring and reporting of preventive and corrective actions.
* QMS & Technical trainings, MAXIMO usage, coordination with operations, TS and Maintenance departments for reliable plant operations.
* Review of Vendor manuals and Specifications for ARU ongoing Projects (ISOM, DHDS, SRU, AMU).
* Close Coordination with P&D, Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Quality management system audits & planning, quality manpower and cost analysis, Cost of repair, calibration& Rework analysis.
• Preparation of internal audit plans, their implementation and distribution of audit summary reports with solutions to avoid recurrence of any non-conformance.
• CARs, NCRs, Field Quality alerts preparation.
• Follow up of timely closure of Audit observations, NCRs, PARs and CARs.
• Quality Objectives establishment and their monitoring as KPIs, raising red flags for concerns and their timely close out.
• Preparation of Project Quality Plan, Quality Control procedures & Formats.
• Measurement analysis and continual improvement.
• Quality general documentation and Dossiers, Safety analysis and MS preparation.
• Preparation of Inspection Test Plans and their implementation.
• Verification of proper document distributions as per QMS requirements.
• Assurance of record retention maintenance and traceable filing system.
• Cost of quality analysis and preventive plans to minimize failure/Rework costs.
• Quality management system comprehensive trainings, focusing on IMS implementation and management responsibilities.
• Equipment Calibration audits and IMTEs management.
• Review of IMTE Records & MTCs on monthly basis.
• Internal Audits at construction site as per audit plan to ensure the implementation of Descon Integrated Management System prior External Audits by Third party.
• Weekly awareness trainings to new hiring on Quality issues & their refreshers.
• Daily activities planning and report preparation to the management.
• Quality and risk management of Civil, mechanical and E&I critical activities without affecting project schedule.
• Project Quality Cost Control and feasibility measurements.
• Root cause analysis and measuring lessons learnt.
• Project Quality presentations and monthly quality steering meetings with sponsors.
• Ability to take guideline from ASME, ASTM, API, AWS.
• Identifying the non-conformances, addressing in Non-conformance report (NCR) and resolving them with proper corrective & preventive actions. Maintain the NCR log book and follow-up to close NCR's.
• Preventive actions to avoid any non-conformance or delay in project/product delivery.
• Sound awareness of RG-DFO-001 and miscellaneous documents for operations.

I visited more than 15 industries during course of study, Bin Qasim Power plant & National Oil refinery being the main. Secured 04 years Merit scholar ship from University & Energy management workshop from CCEE NEDUET. Area of interest are thermo fluids & Quality management Systems, has worked with integrated management systems (ISO, EMS & OHSAS)
