Lead cost control functions, develop and implement the project costing and change management systems. Update cost forecasts, work with construction groups and subcontractors, planning, procurement and AP and ensured integration, accuracy and consistency of data among these departments.
Conduct project reviews, prepare detailed cost analyses, cost and financial reports, assist and lead budgeting and forecasting, provide guidance on accounting matters, record keeping, analysis, and reporting.
Prepare monthly project financial information and internal reporting and present to senior management and stakeholders, provide strategic analysis as required to drive improved decision making.

Reviewed and converted cost estimates to control budgets, and analysed variances. Reviewed variation requests, highlighted cost impacts, and updated change and trend logs, updated budgets, commitments, incurred cost and expenditures. Interfaced with project team, and developed and updated the forecast to complete costs. Reviewed contractor’s invoices and PAFs, prepared cashflow forecasts, cost and progress reports, manpower histograms, S curves, and performance indices.

Set up and implemented an effective project coding structure for the general contractor scope which streamlined the cost analysis and reporting.
Led project control functions and assisted the project services manager with project development & implementation. Coordinated preparation of cost estimates, planning and scheduling, and communication, and reviewed and processed project changes. Setup control budgets, and monitored commitments and incurred costs for engineering and management team. Conducted cost analysis and measured project engineering progress. Calculated EV and performance, compared it with baseline values and analysed variances. Reviewed contractors invoices and PAFs and prepared and distributed project cost curves.

Developed and implemented project control plans, change control procedures, and EVM metrics and templates. Updated trend log, change log and risk register.
Enhanced the project change management with input from other disciplines, by updating the RACI matrix, changing the workflow, and documenting the procedure.
Oversaw project and program control functions, and set up baseline budgets and schedules. Controlled incurred cost, and collected and validated contractor’s daily hours and cost. Prepared project/program forecasts, monthly cost status reports, and cashflow projections.
