Head of R&D and operations Africa
Appointed as Innovation Manager to create an Innovation center in Algeria dedicated to the Algerian consumers.
Achievements in first 6 Months:
- Created a clear Innovation strategy for Algeria for 2020.
- Created a new Innovation process to generate growth of 30 Mio Euros in 2020.
- Fast prototyping with local consumers and impressive first results.
- Project leader of the Innovation Incubator in Algeria.
- Best idea our of 40 ideas generated to drive growth in Algeria.
- Insure new product Development accrocs the three factories on both formula and packaging.
Achievements:
- Launches and re-launches accross the three production plants.
- Double digit growth based on the new Innovations and fast understanding of consumers.
- Helped the company to decrease the variances and improved the EBIT >20%
- Double digit growth to reach 150 Mio Euros Net sales
- Helped to improved several processes: MEA SAP process, sustainabilty program.
- Project leader of JEMECO sustainability project aiming to use our recyled carry cartons
- Participated in GIZ (developpp.com) with JEMECO Project and won the award of 700K euros in Algeria.
Responsible for new formulations and product performance.

Within El Kendi PHarmaceuticals, I took the role of Quality Control Analyst where the main responsibilities are:
- Analyse raw materials as per the STMs ( Standard Testing Materials).
- Establish new Standard Operating procedures for new equipments.
- Responsible for calibrating lab equipments (electronic balances, polarimeters, FTIR, UV spectrophotometer...)
- Release analysed raw materials for production.
- Manage the sampling room.
- Manage the reagents portfolio and keep close contact with suppliers.
- Crystallography & radio-crystallography.
- Materials for optics.
- Semi-conductors, ferro-electricity, ferro-elasticity...
- Nano-structures & crystals behaviour
- Synthesis of new phosphates based on Tungsten & Antimony
- Characterization of ew crystals with X-Rays, MEB, IR...
- Crystalline growth
- Manage and organize meetings/ events/ seminars in collaboration with marketing team.
- Assist internal clients with offering best services.
- Has been chosen as guest Relations for VIPs at the Hilton office in the international airport.
I obtained my Diploma in Chemistry, we've studied organic & inorganic Chemistry, we use different technics of characterization like: Infra red, UV, X ray Diffraction, Analytical chemistry & electrochemistry, also we did MNR and others... In 2007, I got a national exam to subscribe in The Doctoral School of Physics & Chemistry of the Condensed Mater at the USTHB University, and actuallt I'm a researcher in the Materials Science's Laboratory.
