- Assisted hospital staff in optimizing their state of readiness for the accreditation survey process through creating questions and answers that reflect the Care of Patient (COP) JCI chapter.
- Assisted in “Form Modification Initiative” for clinical work through participating in a study to assess the extent of compliance with procedure documentation in outpatient units.
- Followed up on the implementation of proposed action plans related to the COP JCI chapter as well as AUBMC policies and procedures.
- Culminating Experience Project on “Assessing and Evaluating the Initial Nutrition Screening Process at AUBMC Using Six Sigma”.

• Clinical Nutrition (23 weeks): Assessed patients’ nutritional status, developed care plans, provided medical nutrition therapy and education at AUB-MC.
• Food Service (8 weeks): Monitored and assisted food service employees on food safety and hygiene practices during food preparation, handling, storage, and distribution; and developed in-service training for assembly line food service staff at AUB-MC.
• Community Nutrition (7 weeks): Provided nutrition care to residents at Dar Al Ajaza and for Bedouin women in the Bekaa Valley; and participated at a school feeding program in Aarsal.
