Planning and Project control Manager at Hurghada Airport project - Orascom Construction Limited.
CURRENT PROJECTS
A- Hurghada airport project (new Airport) Sept. 2013 till to date (3 years)
o New Runway & taxiway with 10 Connection taxiways,
o Service road Asphalting works
o Complete electrical Air field lighting system CAT II (Led lighting)
o Two Electrical substations including control and monitoring system.
o Environmental / Flood protection (storm water drainage system)
o And also upgrading of the existing runway and taxiways with 2 substations.
o Overall project Percentage of completion (97.3) %
B- El Galalah (Egypt) Seawater Desalination Plant. (150, 000 m3 per day)
Water desalination plant project - June 2016 to date
Civil works, Marine works and electromechanically works
Job purpose and responsibilities.
o Lead, Supervise and train a team of the planning, cost control and document control, to issue the master schedule, updated schedule, recovery schedules, progress and cost reports according to contract requirements with compliance with company procedure. With the most appropriate planning methodology.
o Monitor, Follow up to Control all activities in the project (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handing over) to assure that the project progress comply with the estimated base line schedule.
o Cash flow: Developed, Update it in monthly bases.
o Invoicing, Variation orders analyses
o Control the project resources (manpower, equipment’s rates) and calculate the Rates and productivity of the equipment and manpower of the project.
o Delay analysis, Highlight critical issues / area of concern and analysis the information to take the necessary action and to put a recovery planes, with special focus on the long lead items
o Claims, Time and cost impact analysis,
o Calculate monthly progress percentage to report the actual versus scheduled progress percentage (Works and Cost).
o Daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for the project and provide input to Management staff.
o Tender schedule assigning major resources for the project and provide histogram using the Bill of Quantity in coordination with Quantity surveying and tender departments.
o Prepare close out report in coordination with the project team to be a reference for the company for the coming projects.
o Fulfill all the requirements of Project control Department regarding the department Databases.
o Issue/ review the Schedule Narrative.
