• Supervise piping functional and detail engineering.
• Review engineering deliverables with respect to planning schedule. Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
• Inter-discipline and Inter-department co-ordination.

Major responsibilities:
• Review Consultant’s Engineering deliverables for compliance with contract requirements & project specifications.
• Review engineering deliverables with respect to planning schedule, priorities & re-schedule activities.
• Review & monitor design changes with the Consultant & Client.
• Inter-discipline and Inter-department co-ordination.
• Co-ordination with Client, Engineering consultant, Sub-contractors, Projects, Procurement & Quality control on engineering issues.
• Technical assistance to Project management team & technical liaison with Clients.
• Review design drawings for feasibility of construction and provide alternative solutions.
• Vendor technical evaluation and selection, Procurement support.
• Visit GRP vendor office for GRP spool fabrication progress monitoring.
• Monitoring Engineering, Procurement & Construction progress, attending meetings with the Client & End users and reporting.
• Raise Technical Queries and follow up.
• As EPC Package Champion for Pump House 1 & 3 Manifold area monitoring Engineering, Procurement & Construction progress, attending meetings with the Client & End users, conducting regular meetings with the site team.

• Common Cooling Sea Water Project (CCWP) Phase-II for Qatar Petroleum.
Major responsibilities:
• Preparation of Plot plans, Equipment layouts, Piping plans, Pipe supports, Isometrics and other detail design activities.
• Preparation of Specifications & datasheets.
• Review of Contract documents, P&ID’s and Project specifications.
• Distribution of assignments to Engineers & draftsmen, planning, monitoring and controlling quality & schedule of output.
• Review of detailed engineering design drawings at various stages viz. 30%, 60%, 90% and IFC.
• Inter-discipline and Inter-department coordination, constant interaction and meetings with Engineering Consultants, Client, Sub-contactors & Vendors.
• Review ITB/Contract documents. Obtain clarifications and inputs required from Client for detailed design. Provide input to planning engineer to prepare detailed plan for Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
• Preparation of purchase specifications for piping materials and valves.
• Bulk MTO’s, floating of enquiries for mechanical and piping items and evaluation of quotations.
• Ordering mechanical and piping materials viz. piping, valves, fittings, etc. based on Bulk MTO.
• Follow up with client for Technical queries, additional / changed requirements to the Construction specifications and drawings.
• Conversant with Saudi ARAMCO, SABIC, SHELL DEP and RC Engineering, Material standards & drafting procedures.

• Vendor Bid Analysis/Tabulation and Evaluation, Vendor recommendation/selection, Preparation of Purchase requisition, Vendor Drawing/Document Review, Checking and Approval.
• Co-ordination with other disciplines, departments, cost estimation, constant interaction with Licensors, Client, Sub-contractors and Vendors, site visits, etc.
• Conversant with ASME/ANSI/IS/API specifications.
