Reporting to GM and managing Four departments worth 50 personnel.
I am responsible for:
o Strategy
o Set, Develop, Lead, and execute supply chain techniques and strategies
o Setting annual targets and objectives for the department and meet these targets with supply chain team
o Create, discuss and control the supply chain budget
o Proactively review the procurement, logistics and planning strategies and introduce necessary modifications and standards to ensure that new business requirements are properly addressed.
o Supply Chain
o Appraise the main vendors manufacturing abilities through onsite visits and measurements.
o Monitoring the suppliers’ performance to ensure they are meeting the required quality and delivery.
o Perform cost and scenario analysis to benchmarking for inbound logistics
o Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
o Develop and maintain strategic relationships with main vendors
o Analyze inventory reports to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce wastes, and decrease inventory levels
o Approve annual supply agreements for strategic materials with main vendors
o Supervise and motivate the supply chain teams and determining the needed training per each
o Participate in S&OP (sales and operation plan) meeting
o Procurement Process
o Proactively introduce new initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the requisition system.
o Review and approve all purchase orders from the initiator for completeness, acceptability, and suitability to the business.
o Evaluate suppliers based upon received shipments
o Control all costs related to each shipment in order to be with budget
o Supplier approval and supplier development is one of our objectives
o Improve the lead time of the strategic raw materials
o Ensure to pay the suppliers on time providing all payment documents
o Planning Process
o Review plans and ensure the implementation of the Demand Planning Strategy.
o Supervise the preparation of master production schedules MPS, raw materials plan MRP & capacity requirement planning CRP.
o Ensure to deliver the customers on time
o Logistics &Transportation
o Maintains good relationships with customers, ministries and government authorities in order to ensure the smooth clearance of shipments.
o Continuously coordinate with internal stakeholders to guarantee availability of reliable transportation means for in and out items.
o Develop a strong network of land transporters to cater for the transportation services required to deliver raw materials to plant and finished goods to distributors/customers.
o Design and implement warehousing strategies

• Manage Two Main Power Cables Factories
• Manage Customers contract review
• Prepare S&OP plans
• Manage two planning teams existing on work centers

• Manage scheduling for all work center through production scheduling team (6 Engineers)
• Monitor the MPS to compare actual versus plan
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
